Freaking out again

Postby stef3684 » Mon Dec 07, 2009 12:09 pm

Hi ladies. I am pregnant after a loss at 10 weeks in August. I am being monitored via betas and they look terrible.
12 dpo 44
14 dpo 98
19 dpo 150

I have no miscarriage symptoms but it seems that this will not be a viable pregnancy. I don't know what the next step is except to try again but it seems that it all just causes more stress which is not good either.

I'm so very sorry {{HUGS}}. My angel was a August EDD too. The only thing you can do is ride it out and see what happens. I didn't have betas drawn till i started spotting at 5w and some change so I don't know what my numbers were. At the time they were like 1400 and were still going up 60%. What is your progesterone looking like? That was my telltale sign looking back  Mine was on the lower side of normal :( Have they talked about putting you on progesterone suppositories?

I don't think my pregesterone level has even been tested. I will ask about that. Thanks

I'm so sorry hun. The first 2 betas look good. DOnt lose all hope just yet, I had worse looking betas with my successful preg than with my m/c. I agree those numbers arent doubling but there is always the possibility of human error, With my M/Cs I had the symptoms several days before my betas started to drop. I cant tell you not to stress, because I know how it is, but try to take care of yourself, stay hydrated, eat well and get your rest. When I was in your situation I just had to believe what was going to happen was meant to be, and after my second loss I was blessed right away with my 3rd pregnancy which resulted in my daughter. Dont give up, even if this one doesnt work out, most women in their lives have one or more m/cs, and the majority of those women will have successful pregnancies as well. GL to you
