Scared of repeat miscarriage

Postby hmh85 » Fri Feb 19, 2010 11:20 am

I just got my bfp two days ago. I have had two miscarriages and no children. The last one was December 25, 2009. This was my first menstrual cycle since the mc. I am so petrified that im going to have another mc. Does anyone have a third times the charm story?

Hi,

Congrats on your pregnancy. Very exciting!!!

I wish I had a third's time a charm story for you, but for us, it was fourth time's a charm for us. After 3 consecutive mcs, we finally have our son this past April.

Good luck.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I have a third times the charm story. :)

Well, we had one mc and then concieved DD 2 cycles later.

With this PG, we had 2 back to back early mcs, waited on cycle and then TTC again and got PG with this lil bub!

GL :)

hmh - we're in the November DD with each other. I don't have a third time's a charm story but I do know how anxious you are feeling. We lost our first #2 this time last year and all I find myself doing right now is sitting and wondering if it will go wrong this time. I'm sure it is really normal, especially if you have had more than one BUT as my friends tell me stay positive and do everything you can to ensure a good start for the little one and if it is meant to be then it will be.

mijkij - I had my first appointment yesterday and I think it went well. They put me as a "high risk" so im going to be having my first ultrasound next week.

Me too, my first U/S that is. I have my appointment on March 2nd, I know it is unlikely that we will see too much, which is causing me a little angst, but as I said earlier we have to remain positive that all is okay. I'm looking forward to hearing good news from you next week.
