Spotting...advice please. Thx

TMI...After I got home from work last night I had one tiny little red spot on my pantyliner and then two wipes of pinkesh on the TP. Called the nurse on call who was NO help at all and just said if I am soaking a pad in 30 min to go to the ER. Well, it stopped immediately and turned brown. I had a little more brown this morning at 6 a.m. and that has been it. I have been resting all day with no red or brown or anything. I just went to the bathroom and had 4 wipes of red but on the brown side on the TP (only when I wipe and push in a little when I wipe). Checked back a couple of minutes later and nothing.

I am on progesterone suppositries...2 a day. I do one at 6 am and one at ~7pm. I had three HCGs and had 30.5 hour doubling times between the 1st and 2nd and doctor wad very pleased.

Any thoughts on what could be going on...possible miscarriage?

Thanks in advance.

Vicki

oh, I am like 5 weeks.

Spotting doesn't always mean a miscarriage. You can have something called a Subchorionic Hemorrhage. It caused me to spot for 24 weeks with my DD. I hope everything is okay with your LO. Prayers to you. Please keep us posted.

UPDATE

I had an HCG done this morning and the results are in...and not great.

I only went from a 262 on Wednesday (17 dpo) to 469 today (21 dpo).

I will be talking to my doctor tomorrow to see what's next.

it doesnt sound like a miscarriage to me...i had one 2 weeks ago and i had bright red bleeding and clots! I would try to get your doc to see you to make sure your levels are still going up and your prog. levels are good. Keep taking it easy and try not to stress out. I know its hard...ive been there! Just take it easy! PLEASE dont lift on anything also...stay in bed if you can! Take care of yourself and your little bean! My prayers are with you and "bean"! Keep us posted!
