It's official... Pregnant again before 1st AF

Postby Charese » Fri Mar 18, 2011 7:28 am

Now... I think it's hit me last night. It was confirmed by my OB that my beta is 798 from 2 weeks ago being 48, so this is a new pregnancy!!!

Now... I'm nervous. I am really afraid that the loss I experienced this stime last month will happen again! :(

I was even embarrased to call the dr 2 days ago when I didn't start my period and got the Positive Digi on that day. I thought it may have been old Hcg in my system, but indeed, in fact, it's a new pregnancy! I know a few women who have gotten pregnant before 1st AF and read so many stories of women getting pregnant right after a d/c and many went on to have healthy pregnancies and others didn't.

So I am praying that this time... we'll be okay. It's just hard to not think about the negative when the most recent experience of a loss seemed like yesterday....

Thanks Lara! I've been in tears all night and this morning, just like praying to GOD that this baby sticks. Gosh, I didn't think it would hit me this hard and I am so scared, yet excited, to be pregnant again so soon. I feel like I can share this here on these boards but not in person in my physical space because I couldn't bare to tell people a 2nd time that we were losing a baby if we end up losing this one again, so I just thought it best to not say anything... at all.. until we got to our 2nd trimester, saw a heartbeat and what not.

But I am SO happy, Lara... and have been keeping up with you guys, still praying for myself too... that I can let you guys know I'm back! :)

Thanks for your support! :)

Ladies, I'm in tears now, I've had 7 msgs in my inbox here and your kind messages on my post really makes me feel so supported! It's almost overwhelming. I'm so happy that you all never forgot me, as often times when women m/c here on the boards, whether we were close to them or not, so soon can we often be forgotten. Gosh, it does feel good to be back on the boards again... I feel like I've been so consumed with trying again, my poor DH was hitched to me all the way through this whole process, so very supportive.

So now that we're back in the saddle again, I not only have been praying for you all for a Happy & Healthy 9 mo's now I'm praying HARD for myself! :)

You all have made my weekend! :)

Congrats!! I'm in the same shoes as you. I'm now 21 weeks preggo and still holding my breath. You're going to be anxious, it's natural, but try to relax and just let things happen as God planned. I never waited for a cycle either and got preggo with 4 weeks of my m/c. GL and I pray this is a happy 9 months for you! :happyforyou:

So happy for you. Please do not worry so much. Your body knows what it is doing. If it was not ready for another pregnancy you would not have gotten this far.

I got pregnant the 2nd cycle after my D&C and I am now almost 26 weeks pregnant. Just because the first pregnancy ended tragically it does not mean the same fate will fall this one.

I still worried throughout my first trimester. It is hard not to after going through such a thing.

Thanks so much ladies!! I'm trying SO hard not to worry. I can't help but to look in the toilet & @ TP everytime I go to the bathroom! I keep telling myself the same as what you've already told me...to RELAX! Its so hard, but I'm trying! :o/

I did the same thing throughout the first trimester. :)

The first weeks are scary. I know how hard it is to relax.

Congrats again!

Hi Chareese, I left the board for a few weeks after my mc so I missed that you had had one too. I'm so sorry. There seemed to be a few losses on the september board. I was reading through the boards yesterday, catching up on everyone's new,s and I was sad to read yours and then so pleased for you when I read on and discovered you'd done it again!

I hope this is it this time - for both of us! I got a surprise BFP last night! Think i'm feeling similar to you and nervous rether than excited. Let the waiting commence!!

Loads of love to you xx

Monsue, thank you so much! I tried to find your posts shortly after your loss and I didn't see you at all for a while. But I totally understand. You needed to take your time. I found myself sort of doing the same thing when it happened to me, just confused, out of sorts, very upset, and couldn't be happy for others. But after about a week or so, I started to reach out to some ladies here that went through the same thing, and also I found others who contacted me directly through pm to express their sympathy and offering their stories. It then dawned on me that m/c's are more common than we think! Nothing is a guarantee until you have your little one in your arms when it's over! So here's to praying that everything works out for us... for ALL of us! :)

I'm so happy to hear you're pregnant again! Keeping you in my prayers!
