Excited, but terrified :-/

Postby TexasAngel1979 » Thu Mar 29, 2012 8:59 am

I got a bfp on Monday and while I am thrilled, I don't want to let myself get too excited. I suffered a missed miscarriage in Dec. at 7 weeks and didn't find out til I was suppose be 12 weeks at my first appt. I ended up getting a d and c. So here I am now, back on this side and am telling myself not to stress out, but it's SO hard. I guess what I'm looking for are words of advice from those who know what I'm going through.

I told my boss, I'm cautiously excited lol! I'm doing everything right for this bean, but I'm scared to get attached as well. I'm just a bundle of emotions.

hey girl! we are in the december group together.
i know how you feel, because i feel EXACTLY the same way!
alot of people say chances of miscarriage are 20%. well guess what, that means you have an 80% chance of carrying this baby to term. try not to think of it the other way around because its scary! 80% is pretty good odds & should give you a little ray of hope thinking of it that way!

i am sending you :sticky:, wishes for a happy & healthy pregnancy & a big HUG!!!

looking forward to getting to know you better along the way!

Hi, I saw your post a little after the fact, but just wanted to say I know what you're feeling! I lost a baby at about 5 weeks, and was completely devistated. I got pregnant again, but was just terrified I would loose that one as well, especially when I hit that five week mark. My sister in law and I were texting a lot, and decided to celebrate each week as it came, and count it a victory that we had made it that far (she was pg as well). Anyhow, I'm due in a few weeks with my rainbow baby, so I just wanted to encourage you, and hope everything goes super well!!

Hi Ladies, i just love hearing everyone stories and words of encouragement, especially to know that women have gone through the same things and feel just as scared as i am. I too had a m/c this February and was so sad but couldnt wait to get back on the TTC bandwagon and Happily to say we are now on the bandwagon called "WE ARE NOW PREGNANT..AGAIN!!" I believe im paying to much attention to my body this time which dosent help bc i had no AF since my m/c and i dont know when i OV so dont have any idea how far i am and on top of that scared to go to my OB bc he told me to wait 2 months  But TexasAngel we are all here for eachother nomatter what. BE HAPPY, YOU"RE :pregnant: AGAIN!! Thats a Blessing in itself. Hoping these sticky beans stick for all of us :D
