FET/ need support

Postby Tpifer » Wed Aug 29, 2012 10:02 am

Forgive me in advance because this may be long :)

Short story: yesterday (8/28) my RE transferred 3 perfect embies inside of me-I'm technically 2 weeks and 6 days pregnant however we won't know till 9/11 if it stuck.

Long/Background Story: My husband and I have been TTC for 6+ years. I have unexplained infertility and my husband is perfect <3 I have PCOS, irregular cycles as well as an awful tilted cervix. We have done many cycles naturally-then went to clomid, also tried femara before we were referred to an actual fertility clinic. We did a total of 3 IUI'S. And 2 IVF's, the last IVF (done March of this year WORKED) it was amazing, I was finally pregnant after 6 years...I went in for an u/s at 9 weeks and our sweet baby didn't have a heart beat. We were beyond heartbroken. My Dr advised to jump straight into our FET cycle (frozen embro transfer) we were able to freeze 3 embies from our last IVF and although it took a couple weeks for my husband and I to think about it we went ahead and went straight into the next cycle. Since my last pregnancy was my first my Dr believes it will be easy to get pregnant again--I can only hope and pray.

So yesterday we transferred our 3 babies into me and I am on bed rest for a week. I can take home pregnancy test starting on Sunday-but my beta won't be until 9/11. Once I am 'confirmed officially pregnant' through blood work they will schedule an u/s 3 weeks from that date to see 'how many' I am pregnant with. My due date will be around May 16th.

We normally tell our friends and family what we are doing. This time we are telling NO one. So I'm hoping I can get y'all to help me throughout the next couple weeks. I need support and prayers right now.

Thank y'all and I look forward to meeting y'all :)
