Milestones

I just found out I was pregnant again after a MMC in January and a CP in march (only knew for 2 days). I feel really positive about this one, and if like to come up with a series of milestones to help me fight through the worry I know this pregnancy will bring. Has anyone else done this? I would love some ideas other than the normal "12 weeks" "viability" options.

I wish I had ideas for you. The worrying is tough. I'm 22 weeks with my 5th after 4 losses and I still have that worried feeling every now and then. I'm praying this baby sticks for you!

Thanks ladies. I've come up with a pretty good list I think, so now I just have to sit back and relax. First milestone is tomorrow when I'm officially late for AF. If my tests are any indication, though, I think she's taking a long vacation :)

What list did you come up with? I'd love some advice on how to calm the worry. I'm just taking it 2 weeks at a time. I will be 6 weeks on Sunday, so DH and I will go to dinner, then between 6 and 8 weeks, we will go for a walk, see a movie, stay up late and talk, then at 8 weeks go away for the weekend, from 8-10 weeks we will do some yard work, remodel our kitchen, and go to lunch, at 10 weeks we will see a movie, then from 10-12 weeks we will do some yard work, spring cleaning, and visit my parents. At at 12 weeks....go to the beach for the weekend. What are your ideas?

Congrats on your pregnancy. For me, after my 3 losses, I count each day and each week as a milestone. It's really hard, but I felt most comfortable when I made it to the 20 weeks mark. My advice to you is to take one day at a day.....congrats again.

I tend to measure milestones in terms of:
Midwife appointments
Ultrasounds
GTT
Finishing work
Full term 37 weeks
40 weeks
BABY!!

I think I've decided on:
Miss AF (check)
See/hear heartbeat (may 15 1st ultrasound)
Make it past 9wks3d (when we lost our baby in jan)
Make it to 12 weeks
Find out gender
Feel first movements
DH feel movement
Make it to viability
Make it to the 3rd tri
Make it to 40 weeks
Healthy baby

Just wanted to say good luck! I know how hard it is to focus on the happy pregnancy part when you're so worried about what might go wrong. I was so worried the first 6 weeks until the ultrasound showed the heartbeat (had a chemical the cycle before this one stuck). It was much easier once I got past that milestone, and I also felt very positive about this one whereas the chemical I don't think I trusted it from the first BFP because it was so very light.
