What are the differences between your MC and this pregnancy

Postby mommyofgirls » Sat Jun 14, 2008 4:28 pm

In symptoms? I have had many..

1. More stretching pain in the beginning after BFP
2. Less back cramping after BFP
3. Morning sickness starting at 6w (with my MC I only had 2 times of fleeting moments of nausea.
4. Less bloating in the beginning of pregnancy as I was obscenely bloated by 5 weeks with my MC.
5. My boobs got bigger quicker and are more sore
6. My boobs felt very heavy at 8w (never had that with MC)
7. can see viens on nips
8. Have clear discharge (I only had a teeny amount of discharge with MC and it was only stringy not like EWCM like now)

That's what I can think of for right now. I thought it was a very interesting thing to see the differences and thought it would be informative to see what everyone else experienced too.

I don't recall with my first loss but with my 2nd and 3rd losses, I was super bloated early on, majorly gassy, sore bbs and had nausea. My 3rd loss was a missed m/c so at one point he/she was alive so not sure what the symptoms could tell me at that time.

This time, mildly bloated because I'm backed up  , gas, normal bbs and very tired!

Thanks for responding. Since at the time I had 2 successful pregnancies I was amazed how my symptoms seemed normal. Besides never having MS. Which always happened before. I found it interseting and wanted to see if others experienced this too. Although there are notable differences with this pregnancy my MC pregnancy didn't seem very off. So unfair :(

My mc's were not that far off of my pregnancies. The red flag for my first was morning sickness everyday then boom gone and I felt great. The next day I started bleeding. The second mc I had no morning sickness at all, which I didn't with my second born either. We lost that one because of me having a bacterial infection. piggy back pregnancy on that one and here I am. Still have a bacterial infection but am on heavy abx.

I don't know. It seems so unfair at times. Then there are other times where I think that the mc make us stronger women.

With my m/c, I didn't really have any symptoms except for being tired. I felt like I needed a nap every day. My BFPs were very light and never got darker. I was delusional and had myself convinced that they were a fraction darker each time, but only if you looked really hard. I had a light AF then, too, which actually turned out to be the m/c at the time my regular AF would have started. I was depressed and so anxious the whole time.

This time, my BFPs are getting DARKER each day. I can get a BFP whether I wait 4 hours or 1 hour. I've gotten nauseous at times, my sense of smell is in overdrive, and I've got heartburn. My boobs are firmer, and occasionally in tremendous pain. I have to pee a lot and I'm constipated. I actually missed AF this time (due on Wednesday). I also have a great attitude.

This pregnancy is going to work out!

Kelli, I'm with you! This pregnancy IS going to work out! I've had 2 losses before, and 3rd time's the charm right????

With my m/c, I didn't have many symptoms but the symptoms I did have just kind of disappeared one day. That day I got my beta and it had only gone from 58 to 76 in 2 days, so I knew that wasn't good. I had many of the same symptoms I'm having now (with a few exceptions) only they disappeared. That's why I get so nervous now whenever I don't feel any symptoms!

This time, I've had these dizzy spells a couple times that I never had before. Plus I had some mild cramping a few days after my first BFP, and even though it worried me at first it was different than my m/c so I was glad to have the cramps! I've had random nausea and heart burn, and diarrhea. Oh yeah, AND my boobs hurt this time! They never did hurt during the pregnancy that ended in m/c so every time I get nervous that I'm not having more symptoms, I think about my boobs hurting.

My symptoms are the same at 5 weeks - tired, sore bbs, stretching feeling below abs. 6 weeks was when I started spotting and then bleeding last time. It took a week to actually m/c. I want to get past 7 weeks this time but even then I know I will be worried.

I had 2 losses - a missed M/C and a chemical pregnancy- With my Missed M/C - I had cramps that started around 6-7 weeks, those haven't kicked in yet. I had sinus problems right from the beginning, but it was fall - so maybe that will come soon too --- I didn't have any other symptoms of PG - and I really don't now.

I have had 2 m/c and with the first one my only symptom was sore bbs, and once I started spotting they became less and less sore. The second was a missed m/c and I had every preggo symptom from sore bbs, ms, gassy, bloated, etc but when we went for the first u/s at 7w4d there was no heartbeat. We waited a week and went for another u/s and the sack was starting to collapse so I had a D&C. It was really tough b/c I felt pregnant and my beta was like 70,000+ at that point.

symptoms

Postby marcycat5 » Sat Aug 30, 2008 12:23 pm

I had a lot of back pain right from the beginning when I miscarried. I also just had this feeling that something wasn't right and I woke up one day and all my symptoms were gone- I just knew. I'm hoping for a happy ending with this pregnancy, but I know it's too soon to get my hopes up. Just trying to stay positive.

With my two early m/c I just knew. I had a lot of pain and I just kept saying this isn't right, something is wrong. With my missed m/c, there was no difference. I just up and started spotting one day, we went for an emergency u/s and found out the baby had dies at around 8 weeks. I guess I would say my only symptoms was that I noticed I wasn't gaining any weight like I should, but since it was the first trimester, I didn't think too much about it. I just didn't seem to be getting bigger. This time I look huge already (could be the more than one going on too though).

Strong BFP at 11 DPO w/ clear daily progression as apposed to faint lines, never getting any darker.

Extremely sore bbs @ 5 week mark, with darkening veins and growth, as apposed to sore bbs up to 5 week mark, which went away immediately when I started m/c.

STARVING AND EXHAUSTED... I could eat and sleep and repeat all day if job/home life allowed :P as apposed to no real changes in hunger or fatigue before.

Also, beta's rose instead of fell which was a first!!!

I feel like I just I KNEW last time. I didn't want to know, but deep down I just knew. When I went in for my first u/s at 6wks, they said the hb looked a little slow and I gave every excuse in the book, "I o'd late" etc. Then when I went in for my NT scan, I did NOT want to go...I really just knew something was going to be wrong.

W/. my m/c I didn't have ANY sxs until later...this time, I had pinches FROM O. Last one I was more tired and my bbs hurt more. And I didn't get my :bfp: until 12DPO and this time, my digi worked at 9-10 DPO. Also, this time I had way more dreams before my :bfp: I really just have a better feeling about this one altogether. I'm still very nervous and have a long way to go before I'm out of the safty zone, but I am trying to knock it off :)
