9-10 DPO BFP just in time for xmas

Postby pumpkinseed » Fri Dec 19, 2014 1:54 pm

Hello,

I'm new here and still can't believe it. I got my bfp yesterday (9-10 dpo). I have taken a bunch more like an addict. I'm 36 (first baby) and hubby 42. We tried for 4-6 months but i think 2 months were a bust. (hubby out of town, then other month only once near ovulation).

We were soooo worried about his low morph (2.5%) but dr said it is a meaningless test and with hubby's high counts we should worry about "not getting pregnant" as he's like super-sperm man or something. Well of course I still worried and you hear so many stories, I was hoping (but not expecting) to get bfp within 6 months or so.

Tried SMEP, preseed and pineapple this month and bfp!

End of August 2015 due date if this sticks (so nervous)

I'm not having too many symptoms at the moment, which makes me nervous. Had diarrhea this morning, felt really warm past few days but not as bad today. No sore boobs which seems to be a common symptom. When does that begin? Or do some women not get that?

Mild cramps (different than AF cramps) off and on - feels higher. Bloated, fluttery, tingly feeling below belly button at times. Stomach is so noisy digesting food. Possible "almost barf" feeling yesterday (twice). Smell enhanced at times (i think). Bit emotional yesterday and today but again, could be nerves.

No spotting or anything - what percentage of women get this?

Should I worry about lack of symptoms? I've never had bfp before and it's only 11 dpo (or 10dpo) of 30 day cycle, so I guess I'll be nervous until AF (12/23-12/24) has passed. I would love to tell family at xmas, even though it's still very early.

Had an hcg/progesterone/thyroid yesterday and going again tomorrow so I find out Monday if it's doubling. Crossing fingers. Worried about chemical this early.

Sorry for all the worries...trying to relax! I look forward to getting to know all of you and learning to calm down with tips/advice from you ladies - lol! Then maybe I can start helping out the newbies!

Thanks and congrats to all of you! Happy Holidays!

Welcome pumpkinseed! It is so exciting and so scary when you first get the BFP. We tried for 16 months, so it felt so surreal, but we saw and heard the heartbeat yesterday so we feel like it is more official now!

We had back to back IUIs on CD14 &15, I test 11 & 12 DPIUIs and got a faint line. The next day I noticed sore nipples. Two days later I started getting really bloated and gassy - this lasted a few days. Since then, my boobs are already enlarged and tender and my nipples are always a little sore. I never spotted (thank goodness!), if I did feel any cramps I wondered if it was my uterus or intestines from the bloat, I am not nauseous, have no food cravings or aversion, no constipation or diarrhea, no real big mood swings. So, in a nutshell, bloating and tender/enlarged boobs are my only obvious symptoms. We are all so different.

Good luck and hoping to see a good beta for you!

Thank you Miracle! I'm psyched!

I got bfp 10dpo - Dec 18. Today is 13 dpo, Dec 21. I get my betas back tomorrow (both). Was hoping to get first one back yesterday but labs weren't in yet because I had other tests ordered with it. Took another FRER today at 2pm and line much darker than 3 days ago - makes me feel little better. Not many symptoms or if I do, they are minimal. I have been pooping (tmi) every morning before breakfast which is pdd for me. I had diarhhea for two days. I am officially 4 weeks tomorrow (Dec 22). No spotting yet.

I have a little cramping and back ache today which makes me nervous. AF due Dec 24, which makes it a 30 day cycle (my usual). I've had a few 29 day cycles and last month, a 26-27 day cycle which was very odd.

Is 10dpo bfp with cramping only as af approaches (started today) normal? It almost feels like our bodies are fighting to end the pregnancy, otherwise why are so many women still getting cramps after bfp? Mine are usually pretty severe, if they get that bad, should I worry?
