Congrats! It's completely normal. It's a huge change we're embarking on and along with any change comes worry. I had a miscarriage so this is my second pregnancy and I'm even more scared than the first time around. I'm also 12dpo so I look forward to getting to know you and easing each others worries along the way!

I'm not so worried about being a good mom, I just want to get to that point first - lol! The waiting sucks, and days/hours seem to crawl by. I actually want symptoms, to ease my mind - something I'll probably regret "wanting" but at the moment, lack of symptoms is freaking me out! So far, only mild cramps on/off, a few zits and a bit of headache (which could be weather related). No sign of boob pain, fatigue or morning sickness...yet!

Nothing really helps me other than busying my mind with something else, like a good book or movie, or cooking/organizing!

I think that's the hormones as well as general excitement/nerves. It takes a while to sink in. I am pregnant with my fourth baby (5th pregnancy... miscarried 2 years ago) and I still get the nerves kick in on and off. I will relax more when I'm past 12 weeks but I think you don't truly relax 100% until the baby is in your arms..... and then you start worrying about a whole load of new stuff ;-)

Hey ladies! Thank you so much for your kind feedback. pumpkinseed - yay we are due about the same time. I am less fatigued, breasts a little sore..eyes just feel heavy (but wont sleep lol). That is true you will never really stop worrying. I am so glad I found this site and I can share experiences and hear of everyone elses experiences too because really nobody gets it unless they are going through it or have been through it. Thanks ladies xoxo

hey ladies! I also just found out recently that I am pregnant and due in December. EDD 12/14 :)

I go in next Tues for my 3rd beta and my first ultrasound- hoping we can see that everything is where it should be and the start of something really beautiful! I'll be 5w1d at that appointment. I had my first faint positive test on 12dpo and watched the line get darker as the week progressed!! So exciting, but so nerve wrecking at the same time!! I know exactly what you mean. My first beta was last Friday and once I got the call that everything was good and my pregnancy was confirmed my nerves started to settle.... at least for the moment. Just a matter of time before our emotions and worry get in the way again!

This is my first pregnancy so I don't really know what to expect. So far I've experienced fatigue, crazy breast tenderness/burning feeling and pinchy/pulling type cramps here and there. The main thing is the tiredness. I feel like I could sleep for a full day and still not be well rested. Oh well.. it's all going to be worth it in the end! :hb:

Hi Niecy finding out that you're pregnant can be very overwhelming it's totally normal what you're feeling right now, you'll have your ups and downs but trust me in the end when you're holding your baby everything will fall into place and it will be so worth it

Hi Chole come and join us in the December DDC, things are a little quiet right now over there but it will definitely pick up as more ladies join :)

Hi Mantis - My EDD is also Dec 23!

I got my BFP on April 15 and like many of you been going back and forth between excitement and panic. This is my first pregnancy and it's definitely overwhelming. My doc appt isn't until May 14 and it can't come soon enough. My symptoms are sore boobs and tired, no nausea yet.
