My cramps have subsided a lot but every now and then I do experience very sharp pains that feel very different from the normal early pregnancy cramping. I don't think I will ever get use to the exhaustion though. Hope you ladies are feeling better today, there seems to be a string of ladies falling pregnant in our department and people are starting to lose their minds about it which is very disappointing especially since I am pregnant too!

That's pretty funny lol.
Yeah, I get some sharp pains once in a while now that feel more like little pinches than cramps..

The only sharp pain I have gotten was when I sneezed the other night! I have sneezed since than and no pain! It was crazy! How is everyone feeling today?

Ladies I am so exhausted today...it was a struggle to get out of bed...

Ok I have a question, have you ladies been for a blood test yet? and if so do you intend on going for another blood test after that to see if your HCG levels have increased further?

My Gynae appointment is only in 2 weeks time and the waiting to know that everything is ok is killing me.

I'm not doing a blood test at all. The urine test is good enough and I don't feel like anything is wrong. My first check up will be my ultrasound at 12wks or so. The doula I might hire told me not to even worry about finding a doctor until I'm like 9 weeks. It's totally okay if you want to do it though, for peace of mind, it makes sense!

My doctor didn't want to see me until 8 weeks unless I felt there was a problem. So I'm not having a blood test done. I go for my first appointment in 2.5 weeks! Luckily Christmas is coming up to take my mind off of the long wait!

Hi ladies !
Congrats on your BFPs!

Got my BFP Nov 31st ! This one is after a m/c in May and after 6 months of TTC.

@Kar - good to see you here Kar! :) how are you feeling? any new symptoms?
To answer your question about the blood HcG levels testing- I didn't do the second test (to make sure my levels are doubling) because my doctor said my levels are pretty high for 5w and she is not concerned. However, I had that option. I decided not to do it as it would have really stressed me out more than anything. I have an u/s scheduled for Dec 16th so it will give me the reassurance (at least i hope so!)

Hi Girls :)

How was everyone's weekend?

Welcome Armywife :) good of you to join us!

Hey Sweet!!! I'm so excited you are here, for the rest of the ladies in the group sweetmaria and I were in the TTC group and fell pregnant at more or less the same time :) any symptoms sweet?

Ladies I am just over 6 weeks and the symptoms are hitting hard! I am the most exhausted I have ever been (even went to bed at 8pm last night) and the nausea is creeping in! luckily I have a stash of crackers at work which helped a lot this morning.

Bloop how are you feeling?

I'm doing great, thanks! Cramping is mostly gone so I've started doing little aerobics workouts, and DH and I went for walks in the forest all weekend. Trying to eat healthy too instead of hoovering up chocolate. I'm sorry to hear the symptoms are kicking your butt. Hopefully they get better soon.

Feeling so much better today! been going to bed at 7pm for the last 2 nights which helps with the exhaustion. It's difficult to slow down but I have learn't to remind my myself that growing a baby is hard work and that I need to takes things easier.

Tomorrow is a public holiday here in South Africa so I am super excited to sleep in and get some rest :)

Oh wow you're in SA? That is cool. I have a friend whose family is from zimbabwe.

Good for you for going to bed so early! It makes me feel wonderful too. Last night we went to bed at 8 pm, woke up for a couple hours and then went back to bed until 7 am hahaha.

The napping really helps :) I'm just so excited to go on leave on the 24th :)

Where is everyone else from? It's so nice to meet ladies from all over the world, in my TTC group we have ladies from NYC, Canada and even the UAE.

Any symptoms yet?
