Hello all! I've gotten my first bfp ever and we are so excited!!! My biggest question that I am finding a lot of conflicting information on is diet. I strictly track my intake, I eat 1200-1500 calories a day. I also do cardio and weightlifting, which I plan to continue to do, obviously modified. Some sites say no increase in calories needed in the first trimester, others have these calculators that are telling me to eat up to 2300 a day! What do you ladies think?
TTC #1 since May 2015. Endometriosis. Chemical Pregnancy Dec 2015. Ectopic with rupture and loss of right tube May 2016. 3 failed clomid cycles. Suprise BFP May 2017 :)

1200 sounds kinda low to me particularly for weight maintenance... are you really short? I would agree no increase in the first trimester is needed but that would be based on what a women of *average height and average weight *should be eating which is around 1800-2000 calories a day. I would probably be asking your doctor but I wouldn't be surprised if they tell you to increase the calories. I don't track strictly but I estimate my intake would be around 2000 per day and I don't gain weight (but I am very tall)
