I have requested from my midwife that I try delivering the placenta naturally with no Pitocin (just using BF'ing as a stimulant). I told her if there were issues, I would be willing to have the Pitocin, and would leave it up to her. She was willing to try it my way, although normally she said most women get the Pit. I just can't figure out why I would use the drugs if I made it through labor drug free!

But, I can't really answer your question because I've never done it before :wink:.
