Signs?

Postby memphismomma » Fri Dec 16, 2011 8:24 pm

I'm 39 weeks and being induced in 4 days so we miss christmas time. I'm 1cm dialated and 0% effaced so thats not so good. But this last week i've been having morning sickness, basically just feeling icky to my stomach not actually throwing up. Its only in the evenings. Did anyone else have this right before they naturally went into labor? Also my acne has flared up and it hasn't been too bad through the pregnancy.

Could be!

I wouldn't bother with cervical checks...you could be closed and thick and then an hour later go into active labour. *shrugs* It really doesn't tell you much.

When I was 1cm dilated and 0% effaced, a cervical check sent me into transition-caliber labor... so I WOULD bother with them again!

But, no didn't have any morning sickness type symptoms. I saw some pieces of my mucus plug and I was nesting likewhoa. That was all.

I have nausea every night too! For the past 5 nights. Not sure what it means. I might even have a stomach bug, bc DH is sick too, but it's mainly at night that it bothers me. I also wondered if it was the start of something. I don't remember having it with DS1.

I didn't have nausea. I just felt a little unsettled in my stomach and (TMI) had to go #2 on the toilet constantly! 8O I almost had diarrhea

Nausea and acne are two semi-common signs of impending labour. Although then again, there are other possible causes. Good luck!
