VBAC possibility

Postby caqtcake143 » Fri May 18, 2012 9:32 am

Hi ladies!

I am new to the pregnancy side and am super excited to officially be over here!
So I have a two year old daughter that was delivered via c-section due to her being breech. I did go into labor with and have my water break at home but she never flipped. The doctor found that I have a slightly heart shaped uterus which was causing her to not be able to flip. I REALLY would like to try a VBAC if possible which, as long as this little nugget isnt breech, the doctor will happily do.

Anyone been in this situation or have any insight? I HOPE HOPE I get my chance!

Happy pregnancies to all!

Sorry you haven't had a reply to your post. I'd call a local Midwife for a consultation. That is if you are open to a more "natural" approach to birth. I found one that was willing/able to talk to me about my concerns right over the phone. Also the ICAN website is most helpful in finding women with encouraging words/stories about having a VBAC. Sometimes having a repeat sections IS the best thing too. Just get multiple opinions of medical professionals, not just OBs.
