How are you ladies doing on working out? We did our 7th day of P90X today, and I'm really enjoying it! I have never said that about a workout before either. It's different every day, and my body is already changing. It's awesome!

We're on day 14 of P90X. I'm sore EVERYWHERE, but I actually have the faintest beginnings of a 6-pack! I'm so excited because I've never had one before!

But seriously, am I the only one still working out? :(

Wow! Good for you Marj! I am such a slacker. I begin again tomorrow I swear :D I dislocated my hip on saturday so have been a little sore. Went to my doc today and she says the only cure is to get strong so I am on a renewed mission. This is rediculous! Going to get out my pilates workout dvd. Wish me luck :)

Oh wow, I'm so sorry to hear about your hip! I'm glad you're cleared to exercise. How did you dislocate it?

Don't worry about slacking before. It's what you do now that matters! <--That was my attempt at a pep talk. Cheesey, but it's true!

I have to say that I feel amazingly good since DH & I started working out regularly. My asthma is better, and I have more energy. The other day, I was chasing my 2-year-old around the living room, and he got tired before I did! 8O

weightloss

Postby mlpeep777 » Sun Jan 30, 2011 10:08 pm

Hi everyone. I have 4 kids ages 6,4,2, and almost 1. I have about 20 more pounds to lose. I am doing the couch to 5K program which is awesome and Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and the Ab Ripper from P90x. I am tired of looking pregnant. Anyways my husband did this cleanse and lost 12 lbs in 10 days and he ate and was full and was not sitting on the toilet all day. I am still breastfeeding so as soon as she is off I am going to try it. Here is the website for more info. https://www.advocare.com/10116713/Store ... D&flavor=C I hope this website helps me stay accountable.

Hi, Erin! I've tried that Jillian michaels video before, and I really liked it. I used to get it free On Demand, but it's not on there anymore. :(
I LOVE ab ripper though. And when I say I love it, I mean I hate it, but it's giving me results, so I love it.
We're on day 26 (I think) of P90X. We've also cut out soda and fast food. I feel sooo much healthier! The other day I was chasing around my 2-year-old, and he actually got tired before I did! 8O

I'm also slowly getting back into working out...it's been a challenge but I know it will be worth it in the end! I've always been a very active person, but I don't want to do too much too soon. I've found some magazine articles on good exercises to start, I'm going to start walking daily (hopefully turning that into a jog soon), and will get back to the gym when I feel I can definitely handle it! For people are starting to workout after giving birth, I would suggest having a stability ball and some light dumbbells in your house. This article has some pretty low-intensity exercises that you can do anywhere! http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/health/l ... exercises/

Keep pushing yourselves! :)
