The Medela "mini pump" is called Harmony. I used it for months w/ DS & LOVED it. I was pumping only about once per day. I liked the portability, control over pumping, and of course the PRICE. If you're going to get a manual pump to just use occasionally I would highly recommend it. The suction is good, & it lasted well for many months. I switched to an automatic double pump when I started pumping a lot more.

I prefer my medela harmony manual pump to my electric playtex nurser, to me the playtex one didn't "tug" hard enough.
