of pumping.

I am so sick of it. We are at 11 months and DD still reverse cycles. I work Wed/Thurs/Fri but even when I am home with her she nurses rarely but still nurses all night, which I am cool with. I would rather her nurse all night long than deal with pumping anymore. So I think I am going to start day weaning from my pump and hang up my horns.

For working mommas, when did you/do you plan to stop pumping at work? Part of my issue is my bitch boss (if you remember 6 months ago she was giving me a really hard time about pumping at work)

Anyway, state and company policy only protects my right to pump for up to one year, so technically she could be a bitch again next month, and I wouldnt have a policy to fall back on. And I am sick of pumping. And switching to a new, less private office.

I feel a little guilty, but I still plan to nurse her as long as I can.

That sounds totally reasonable to me.

I agree that that sounds like a good plan. I hate that we're only protected up to a year with a pump. :(

Just jumping in from lurking. I haven't posted on here in ages, but thought I would throw my 2cents in.

I quit pumping at work (I work 5 days a week) with both of my boys shortly after they turned 1. They both reversed cycled, so I didn't feel too bad about it. They would hardly drink from the pumped bottles too much anyway. This was especially true with DS2, and he is still nursing (and showing no signs of stopping) at 22 months.

Sounds like it is time Mama. I too am about to hang up my horns. I am having a hard time responding to the pump and am also having some crazy days at work where it is often hard to get in as much pumping as I need. I am down to pumping once a day right now, and am getting anywhere from 2 to 4 ounces, depending on the day. I wish I could go longer, but my body just stops responding to anything but him. Same thing happened last time, and I stopped at 9 months.

I plan to still BF in the morning and before bed.

I too hate the pump, and while I am sad to stop, I am also a little relieved to be done. It is sad to think I will never do this again though.
