For Moms who pump

Postby LaraE » Wed Apr 25, 2012 2:05 pm

Has anyone ever had to replace the tubing on their Pump? Mine is the Medela PISA and I've been pumping 5 days a week now for over 5 months. I have replaced other parts like the valves and membranes but i wasnt sure what the norm is for these tubes and how long they are supposed to last. Honestly, Im trying to find a way to get more milk when I pump and Im hoping if i replace the tubing that may help>?

I could be wrong, but I think the tubes are generally ok as long as you don't get moisture in them. I did replace my tubes once hoping it would help me increase my supply, but it didn't really change anything. Doesn't hurt though to try!

I replaced the tubing on mine because I was having a suction issue. It helped.
