Let down 5 months later?

I stopped BFing close to 5 months ago. I never really felt letdown once we got into the swing of things, only in the beginning when I was really really full.
Since I stopped I still feel letdown periodically. As recently as several times last week. Nothing comes out, but I can feel it. When will this go away? Or will it?

This is completely normal - many women are able to squeeze some milk from their breasts years after the stop feeding, and many experience the let down feeling, more commonly around other babies. It's nothing to worry about, although it can be a little annoying.

Some medical conditions can cause milk production when you're not breastfeeding though, and if you develop excessive leakage, swollen or tender breasts, you may want to see a doctor.

Thank you. I have seen it online called phantom letdown. I can get a very small amount of milk if I really try. Not much though.
