glad I still nurse!

Postby jessm » Tue Mar 05, 2013 9:45 am

Man am I glad we didn't wean! DS was SO sick with gastroenteritis, an ear infection and a head cold this week. He wouldn't eat or drink and couldn't keep anything down...except breast milk! I swear it's the only thing that kept him from needing IV fluids.

Sorry he's sick! I love breast milk for this reason. My daughter will be two soon and I'd like her to wean before the new baby comes, but I have no plans to push it at all until flu season is over. It is just too good to take it away from her with all the sickness floating around!
