High Rise or Low Rise

Postby emoprincesa » Mon Mar 23, 2009 5:22 pm

Do you prefer high rise diapers or low rise diapers for your baby? And why?

We need the higher rise ones because A gets plummer butt if we don't. Seriously, the girl has a long crack

I like low rise diapers. I feel like they let her move better b/c they don't put so much pressure on her belly. That was true specially when she was learning to sit and crawl. Now it doesn't matter too much, but I definely prefer the way low rise ones look anyway. And she has a big butt that keeps them up so they won't fall, LOL.

Maybe this is why I don't like them...neither of my kids have a butt! Especially Brayden...that boy doesn't have an ounce of fat on his body.

I prefer high rise, but not really sure why? :dunno: Maybe because I started out with BGOS, and that's what I'm used to.

I prefer low. I feel like higher rise diapers just slide down anyway and make them gap in the thighs. Jake has a big booty too so it keeps him from having plumbers crack

I voted high rise cause my babies have my long torso and need a higher rise. You ought to see me trying to fit properly into those cute low rise jeans... talk about plumbers crack! They don't sell many full rise jeans these days, either.

Low rise, I dont like when you can see the diaper peeking out of the the pants. And the same reason as the others, seems like less pressure on the tummy.
I"m a hip hugger kinda girl though. :)

It's funny, I never really thought about it until you asked. But I think I tend to like the higher rise ones just because AJ has such chunky thighs that the diaper needs to come up higher to not cut into the top of his thighs. He is starting to thin out so I wonder if that will change. :dunno:

Low. High rise cut into his tummy, and it's hard enough getting pants over his butt anyway, and with a dipe sticking up out the top, not thanks...

Laila has a long torso so I get the high rise diapers usually...just b/c the low rise ones are silly looking and ill fitting on her. But, when she was itsy bitsy I liked lower rise ones b/c of the tummy pressure. Now L barely sits so it doesn't really matter. LOL!

high rise, just because Jason has a high crack like his mommy

And I like seeing his diaper stick out of the top of his pants. Not sure why though, lol

higher rise to stay up.

lower rise not to cut into her tummy.

basically, depends on what she's doing that day. she has no bottom, but a very long rise. that's ironic considering she's so tiny.

We need the high rise due to a long torso. I can't stand plumbers crack w/ the low rise diapers.
