Do you pin or snappi your BSRBs?

Postby MrsLewis907 » Fri Aug 07, 2009 2:42 pm

I have been snappiing my BSRBs, but I'm finding they are not holding very well, typically the middle piece...it holds the wings fine, but not the middle. I'm thinking I may need to get some pins...

so what do you all do, pin or snappi your BSRBs??

I snappi, but I bought some pins to try pinning. I'm just too chicken to do it

I guess I'm the lone pinner.

I vastly prefer pins to snappis. Much better job of it!

Snappi!! Pins left huge holes in ds2's overnight bsrbs and after every wash the holes seemed to get bigger. :( I did end up putting snaps on his. :)

I Snappi. I did try to pin once or twice, but I ended up bleeding so I decided it wasn't the best idea!!

blue you are not alone!! I am totally 100% pinning thanks to the encouragement from you and bookish and I love it....I have some holes in my BSRBs but they are all on the inside and I don't plan on selling them so I don't mind at all!

I didn't mind pinholes either! :yay: And snappis snag anyway, so you get wear from them too.

I know and I got tired of them coming loose and getting snagged on stuff and pulling off her diaper...she goes coverless 100% of the time at home!

I have only used my 4 new BSRBs a total of 5 times, and I'm already tired of the snappi coming loose and snagging! I have some pins coming to me, and even though I thought I'd NEVER ever use pins and they still do intimidate me a tad, I'm really excited about getting them and trying them out, both on the fitteds AND the prefolds!!

Pins can be intimidating at first, but you won't regret it! I had issues with the BSRB not snappi-ing either, and that was on quite a few different prints (all knits of course) and forget the bamboo fleece!

They did *OKAY* on the 2 thermal knits, but I had the worst time with the other 2 knits!!

You really won't...I watched the tutorial on the PB & E site and just practiced...you will eventually find the way you like to do it and what works for you...you can get your diapers soooo much tighter and better fitting with pins! LOL blue...I sound like you when I was asking about pins!
