Charlie's Soap

Postby cmv_in_sweden » Fri Mar 18, 2011 10:22 am

So, I'm going to switch to Charlie's Soap for all of our laundry because it's a lot easier for me to get. Anyone else use it? I've read some things about chemical burns, which is weird, but the local CD mommies here seem to like Charlie's.

i saw no one replied and i didnt want to read and not post. Ive never used charlies. In fact, ive never used any "cloth diaper soap". For my CDs i either use Dawn dish soap or Tide free and clear. Just throwin that out there. Best of luck either way :)

I read somewhere that if you use Charlie's for cloth diapers, you should use it for all of your laundry, because it will strip the residues from your clothes that were washed in other soaps and they could get on the diapers.

I just started using Chariles so I can't really say either way about the buildup yet. I did read on it that they recommend doing a few test washes to clean out your machine. I will have to keep an eye on the buildup issue as we use other soap for the rest of our clothes. But so far it is working well for the diapers.

So far I'm happy! I switched to using Charlie's exclusively on all of our clothes. It was just easier that way. I like that I'm using something natural and it's better for our skin. Somehow our clothes still come out soft even though I'm not using any kind of dryer sheets! How do they do that?!?
