Diaper sprayer?

Postby litmajor » Fri Feb 08, 2013 9:19 am

I didn't think I'd need a diaper sprayer, but now DD is starting solids and we had our first solid food poop in fluff today. I usually rinse everything in the bathroom sink (DH's side- and I do clean it after!), but that was decidedly easier when it was just breastmilk poop. Diaper sprayers are so expensive though- I can afford it, but if there is a more common sense alternative, I'm open to suggestions.

I just plop it off when possible, else scrape it with some wipes into the toilet. I know some people actually keep a spatula next to the toilet, and I know at least one mommy on here dunks the diaper in the toilet. I don't have a sprayer, but I think I'm going to get one for the next baby. You can also Google "homemade diaper sprayer" and make your own with part from a hardware store for a little cheaper.
