Dyeing prefolds and flats.

Postby Ladybug&babybugs » Mon Mar 09, 2015 4:19 pm

So I want to dye my little man's flats and prefolds. I've bought the dylon brand dye and am just waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Anyone done this before? Any pointers? I've been cloth diapering for almost 5 years but have never dyed diapers before.

Well I went ahead and did it! Really love how the flats turned out! I have dark purple and lilac, dark orange and light orange, dark red and pink, dark blue and light blue, tropical green and mint green. I'm digging all the fantastic colors!

Which dying product did you use? Is it safe for sensitive baby skin?

I used dylon dyes. I saw them recommended on another site by a cloth diapering mama. I have had not problems with irritation on my little guy's skin.
