Shot these two today, in the yard. I'm stoked at the eye contact I'm getting from her!

Thanks! My mentor isn't in love with them, lol. She doesn't like the colours of number 1 and thinks 2 is a bit too cool.

My mumma goggles LOVE them though

My MIL thinks I take awesome photos and should start taking on clients! Um NOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! I can't imagine charging people for my practice work!

I would pay you for photos! You should see some of the "photographers" that advertise on CL here.. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this but I totally think you could charge people :D

aww thanks, but I have a looong way to go! I see some photog here in Greece that are JUST awful too. Like, portrait shots right up against a blank wall, so there are awful shadows. Harsh light. Fuzzy faces. Orange babies!!!

I think before I'd consider it, I'd need:
- better equipment (cannot do studio without at least 2 lights, umbrellas, etc)
-outdoor equipment (telephoto or 85 mm lens, reflector, etc)

And I think I should be able to NAIL (focus, wb, composition, colour) at least 20-30 shots from a single session before I'd consider myself good enough to charge.
So, um, yeah, way long way to go.

Maybe in the future though? For my lactation clients :)

Eye contact is great! I love the clarity on the second one. And her attitude on the first, lol.

I really like number one. The softness mixed with the attitude great. On the second one is cool to me. Maybe try playing with some actions in photoshop with it. Her eyes are fab in the second one. :D

I might warm up the second. But I don't use actions. :) I do my own editing.
