MLK's course

Postby Kylie » Mon Apr 26, 2010 12:47 am

I signed up last night :) I know it's really popular at ILP. Is anyone here a student or considering it?

Yup, I'm doing it this summer!
Did you see he got his vendor membership closed down at ILP?

eta- oops actually I forgot, I'm reconsidering because I heard of a few other online courses that are just as good, but no set time limit to finish. I'm also doing more Webinars (I have a one on one set with Andrea Joki next week) so I'm not sure I need to pay for the basic stuff that Matthew goes through in the first couple weeks, kwim?
So, yeah, still debating I guess.

I did see that on ILP. I have to admit to being curious as to why.
There's a year to complete the course which I think will be plenty for me. I'll try to chew through it as fast as I can.
I know what you mean about the basic stuff. I signed up last night and completed week one's assignment today but I'm sure in a few weeks it won't be so easy. The webinars sound great. I don't know how I'd go with the time difference.

ETA - I just re-read and it is only six months that you have to complete the course without re-registering. That's OK. I need a push.

The times on the Webinars on ILP are in EST, so it means most are late at night for me. Which is actually ok, but for you not so much. :(

I do other Webinars though, not just ILP ones.

I just don't know if I can do it in the 6 months right now. I know I'll be in Canada in June, and then Aug is off month in Greece so we'll be doing some island travel. I might reconsider the course after the summer, but I think by then (hopefully!) I won't even need it anymore, kwim! LOL! Especially doing weekly assignments for my mentor.
But MLK's course does sound great!

Eddie said it was "administrative differences" they couldn't reconcile. Hmm...

I think you have a year to complete the course at full price but I signed up with the Mother's Day discount and it only gives you six months.

You've got a bsuy couple of months coming up! I'm sure you'll learn everything with your mentor that you would with the course. All of the information is out there for free, I just wanted to do some structured study. I think it will make me feel more accomplished than all the self teaching I've been doingl Probably silly really.
