I have a Nikon D60 and we're going to the beach next week. My p&s crapped out and I NEEEEED pictures of course, so I'm taking my Nikon. I took it to the beach last year but when I went from the cold condo to the heat, it fogged up like nobody's business. I thought I ruined it! It took forever to straighten up. So should I leave it out on the balcony (covered) to stay at the outside temp or what? I don't know what to do!

From what I understand is keep it in the camera bag and leave it there a for while before leaving for the beach. Once at the beach leave again there for a bit. Once you've been there for a bit take it out and again let it alone for about ten minutes. After the click away. Repeat when your ready to go home. Just remember to clean clean clean all the sand when you finally bring it out when get home. I could be completely wrong on this. You may also want to goggle DSLR and beach.
