Postby b0nita » Mon Jun 28, 2010 11:04 am

Hello ladies, DH bought me an amazing camera for mothers day- its a Lumix FZ35. I would of perferred a canon but DH insists this a just as a great camera. Just wondering if any one has/ had a Lumix and how well did you like it?

I have their point and shoot to keep in my purse and like it just as much, if not more, than my cannon point and shoot. I didn't look it up but I'm assuming it's an SLR? If the smaller cameras are any indication of overall quality it should work out well for you. Hopefully someone has more experience with that particular model.

I don't know it. My only concern would be, can you get quality lenses for it? With Nikon and Canon, you KNOW that you can get stellar lenses and accessories easily, which will matter to you if you decide to take your photography to another level, kwim?

I don't believe it's a dslr. It's a nice alternative to a point and shoot. I've heard great things about them. You can check out reviews on cnet.com.
