I am wanting to upgrade my camera- its a simple point and click type....so sometimes the photos don't turn out as well as I'd like.... Yet Dh is being a bit of hard case to crack :lol:

She's so cute! #2 looks great. :)

Even with a point and shoot you can get nice images. Just use lots of natural light and try to minimize shadows by using open shade or indirect sunlight. Turn off your flash if there's plenty of light and you should get really nice images.

Christina had great advice. I would find a nice big window for some good light, turn off your flash and practice. Also maybe take a couple steps back for your next practice shoot, that might help your focus and composition a bit. :)
