Hello all! I can't believe it, but this is my third time on this board! I joined back in 2006 with my first DD, and now am pregnant with #3!

I just wanted to see if there are any other pro photogs who are also expecting on the boards this time around:)

I've had a business for about 4 years, and currently operate in Okinawa, JP (Air Force wife!) My site is http://www.redstonephotos.com.

Nice to meet you all!!!!

Congrats on your pregnancy! I do a few photography sessions here and there but I also work at my "real" job full-time, so I don't have a ton of time for photography! I wish I could do more!

I just checked out your blog, your work is beautiful! Seriously, it's amazing! I think I have seen your pictures on ILP before. :)

WELCOME!!! Congrats on the pg!

I've seen your work on ILP too, lovely work! Are you friends with Anya?

I'm a stay at home mum with two toddlers, so not much time for shooting! I wish I could! But my dh works upwards of 16 hour days and some weekends, plus takes extended business trips and I don't have friends or family in this country, so I'm pretty much on my own here!

I do plan to start PBing soon, and am considering doing more work, maybe when the kids start school full time. I also do workshops with local foreign women (for breastfeeding counselling) so that takes up my time too!

Congratulations on #3!!!!

I used to do fashion photography but after getting pregnant and now with the baby I don't have much time to devote to it. I also moved earlier this year and finding a new client base is a pain.

Newborn photography is a new thing for me and I have to admit that I like fashion a little bit better because it's easier. LoL.

I have a small photography business. I still have a lot to learn but I'm happy plodding along and getting paid for something I love.

Yay! Nice to meet you all!

Blue-Eden, I should have known you were an ilp-er because I saw all of the great cc you've given on different posts on here. I do know ANya, she lives here in Okinawa and we send each other referrals because we each specialize in different things. Your screen name looks familiar...I wonder if I've seen it over there, or if you were here on this board at the same time I was with a previous baby. hmmmm...:) Good luck with your pb-ing!!!!

Victoria, thank you for the compliment!! Congrats to you as well, and cool to see another ilp-er here:)

Christina, Fashion photography--how exciting!! Are you thinking of getting back into it? I agree that newborns can be super challenging!

Kylie, nice to meet you too:) It is nice to have such a wonderful creative outlet for a career:)

Amanda, thank you! I'm SO looking forward to the pregnancy. The fear that I had the first 2 times is gone now that I know what to expect and all that's left is excitement!!

I look forward to getting to know everyone better!!!

My oldest girl is just a month older than yours, so I'll bet we were posting here at the same time, back in 2006 and 2007!

I puffy heart Anya and her work! I always make sure to post on her threads, and she's sweet enough to reciprocate and post great CC for me too.
Thanks for the well wishes!

Congrats on your new pregnancy!! I want to get back into it but now that I moved back to So CA the market is pretty much saturated so I'll probably need to branch out in to other things. I'll hit it hard again when baby is a bit older. At only 4 weeks, I'm still trying to get the hang of mommyhood. :) :)

I know I'm posting way late. Sorry. :)

I lurk from time to time, still. I'm a full time photographer. Mostly weddings, though I sprinkle in a few portraits here and there!

Alexis, I think I've seen your photography in real life!! I used to live in Oki up until a year ago (Navy wife). I think you were new to the island right about the time I was leaving - I remember seeing you advertising - maybe at the Schilling Craft Fairs? I had a travel photo business in Oki but I wouldn't call myself professional. All I can do are landscapes, my portrait work sucks. I don't have a business anymore because there isn't a market for it here. My webpage is www.kristinburfeind.com
