What a cute baby! What kind of camera are you using? Are you shooting in auto?

My advice would be to find some good lighting (big window, sliding glass doors, things like that) and work on shooting in manual mode without the flash on. The pictures are very sweet but snap-shotty due to the flash. You have a good subject so you can get lots of practice in!

I have an olympus e-410 and have been playing with manual. The problem I have with lighting is the way our windows/blinds are it makes lines across the floor so I haven't tried to shoot w/o flash :?

I'm not loving this camera so I am thinking I might get a better one after the holidays. It takes forever to focus and a lot of my photos come out blury b/c it didn't auto focus, its frustrating. I really need to see if there are some online classes or something...

Thanks though, I will have to try arranging things so the lines don't hit just the light and see if that makes them look better ;)
