Post your Christmas pictures!

Postby victoria_1024 » Wed Dec 08, 2010 8:04 pm

Thought it would be fun to see some Christmas pictures of all our little ones! Please post away, can't wait to see!!

Here's my little guy. He was about as uncooperative as he could possibly be. He had no interest in sitting on my seamless paper, lol. The chair only helped for a few minutes. I spent most of my time chasing him around and snapping as fast as I could, haha.

Great idea!! I think you did a wonderful job, especially for a wiggly toddler. It looks like he was perfectly cooperative in the shots you captured. :) I need to do my christmas pics soon!

Ha the nice thing about photography is you can throw away the photos of his back as he ran away from the camera and in a few years you'll look back on the photos you posted and remember him as a little angel! I'm impressed you got that many good ones! Did you take those in your home? What did you do for lighting?

Thank you guys! Yes I took them in my dining room actually. That's my "studio", haha. It's just natural light, we have huge windows off to his right side. Then I have big white sheets tacked on the wall on his other side for a little reflection.

Can't wait to see Christmas pictures from people!

I didn't take formal holiday pictures, but I did a collage of M. I only have 1 or 2 of Leo, so I don't have enough for a collage for him.

I also have these of M, making her holiday wishes to Santa. <3
The first is processed more vintage, the second more traditional.

Vicky- He is PRECIOUS! Great shots!

Blue- your kiddos are just stunning! Can't get enough!

Charlotte- What a little man! He is so cute!

LOVE the pics ladies! No "formal" pics here but took a few shots when I had the chance...

Snuck a shot with my camera while visiting Santa-- ISO was pretty high so it's a little noisy.

DD was being fussy when I tried to do photos for the Christmas card. This was the best of the bunch:

Great pictures!!

How did you do that Annie? Are those white lights underneath the tulle? Love it!

yep, there are white holiday lights underneath :)

I also used a sheer organza-type fabric because it was softer than tulle so it wouldn't be scratchy on DD's skin. I wanted to photoshop out the ribbons on the wings but one was covering her fist (I'm not skiled enough to create a hand LOL) and she was so fussy I couldn't get more than the one shot.

I hear you with the photoshop. I need some serious class time to do all the cool newborn poses.

It really looks great! It's such a great concept. My LO won't sleep for pics at all so I'm impressed you got such a nice shot with a fussy babe.
