Ok, so Amanda is on the poo list  :)

Char, yea, I LOVE going to the games, so DH bought us season tickets for my b-day :) When you live in FSU town, it's hard not to get sucked into football madness once the season starts. I'm super duper excited :) We've sort of...um...sucked for the past couple of years, so I hope this year is a whole lot better. I guess I have to keep a watch out for you then ;)

It's funny that you live so close! I do remember you saying that. DH and I almost came to Homecoming a few weeks ago to eat, but I decided we better go somewhere a little healthier since I just had my surgery....but MAN would it have ever been good!!!

Football games can be addictive! But I do agree, FSU really needs to suck a little less. :)

Oh yea, I forgot you love the Homecoming. Did I tell you my boss owns that restaurant? You can almost feel your arteries clogging when you eat it, but it's so darn good! I'm especially crazy about their grits.

Lovely weather we're having, huh?

 yea, I'm sure I have artery build up b/c of them!! Pretty cool that your boss owns it. It's ALL good!!!

Yea, it hasn't stopped raining here since yesterday afternoon. Wind hasn't been that bad compared to hurricanes/trop. storms in the past, but it's nasty outside.

Know what sucks worse than FSU football??? The fact that Old Navy is having their HUGE denim sale today and it's far too nasty to drive across town in this weather. Kids jeans are $7 and adults are $12. ARRRRGGGG    I may just have to leave the kiddos with DH and buckle up tight and go for it LOL!

We were out in it earlier! But our power was out. We have a well/pump, so no power means no water. So we came over to my mom's.

I think a trip to Tally just to go to Old Navy would be a bit much, though...

The Weather Channel has estimated that we've already gotten 15 inches of rain here!

Our chicken didn't make it. :( But the idiot was running around outside of his house. What else could we have done?

There are SOOO many flooded roads here. And I work for EMS, so I had to run paperwork on all the crazies that tried to drive down a flooded street and had to be rescued by a swim team.

UGH! I hate idiots in floods. I mean really. I hope you dont have to deal with too much more. I grew up in Eastern NC, right on the beach. Constantly getting pounded by storms and youd see the biggest morons on the news doing the dumbest things, lots of surfers, rednecks in big trucks that thought they could drive through the water, and fisherman that waited too long to collect up thier crabpots.
But, sorry to hear about your chicken.

We're in flood watches now, weve had about 2 inches of rain today and much more to come.

Oh, your poor chicken! :( Sorry! Thanks for asking girls! Char, glad you guys made it out ok as well. Sounds like you guys got soaked as well. Amanda, this storm is NO FUN so WATCH OUT!

We've been hit before with way worse winds having grown up in the panhandle of FL, but these rains are worse than any I remember. Our area of town we are in got about 16 inches. There are roads closed all over town, but it's all good. Could be a lot worse. To top it off, we did good on not losing power all weekend other than a few minutes here and there....BUT this morning a random lightening bolt hit right outside of our yard this morning after we thought a thunderstorm was gone and power was out until this afternoon. Go figure!

Oh, and about those crazy people....I think I'd have to refuse medical service to the dumb dumbs that do stupid stuff and get hurt. But just think girls....these could be OUR kids one day doing these things....

...darn sure better not be mine  8)

My kids better have more sense than that!!

People can be really stupid sometimes!

There are still tons of roads closed here, and lots of trees down. And it's looking like we are going to have watch out for Gustav now. Woohoo!
