Hi ladies!

I'm so sorry it's been a long time between my postings. All your children are absolutely lovely! :) I really enjoy seeing all the pictures! I can't believe it's been over a year since we had our little ones.

I am working two jobs and being a mommy---so that's three jobs, right?

My little guy is still crawling like a maniac. He just stood by himself for the first time yesterday! Not walking yet, but I know he will in his own time.

Hope you're all well.

Hey Jeanie! It's been a while. I agree that time has just flown by. Sounds like you are busy lady. Post pics of that adorable baby...when you have time. I'm sure all the ladies would like to see!

I'm a proud mama so I am writing to let you all know what Cam has been up to these last couple weeks. He is now pointing at EVERYTHING, blows kisses at the girls, actually thinks that he is having an actual conversation with me (so funny when he does this), and now knows how to twist the knob and open any and all doors (oh joy). Thats all that I can think of for right now. What are all your bambinos up to these days?

Also, when we finish out transition to Florida I will be cutting off all bottles from Cameron. Any ideas on how to make this easy for both him and I? He already knows how to drink from all sippys and from cups with no lid. Suggestions?

Oh Camsmommy, I have no idea how to cut off the bottles. Honestly, it would be way too early for me to even consider that for Eleni. She pounds 4 huge bottles of milk a day, even though she can drink from a sippy cup (and likes to drink out of real cups for a few sips for fun), and it's totally worked into our morning and nighttime routines. I guess I would start by eliminating the daytime bottles first (if he drinks them). Will he drink milk out of a sippy cup? I've heard some LOs will drink anything but milk from a sippy, which would be difficult.

That's amazing he can turn doorknobs! E reaches for them but hasn't mastered them yet THANK GOD. Ugh, I dread that 'milestone', hahaha.

Jeanie, great to hear from you! You are always working too hard, girl. I hope you have some time to enjoy life already!

Girls, i have some news. Much earlier than I expected, I got a BFP yesterday!!! DH and I are in shock; it took awhile (and the help of metformin) to conceive DD, so the fact that just a couple months of unprotected sex and only ONE ppAF got me knocked up is unbelievable. I am so excited! :) I guess I'll be due sometime next April. Nuts.

Hi Ladies.

Camsmommy - I'm doing this next week. My oldest boy turns 3 (OMG it goes fast) and he still has a bottle in the morning and at night. I told him that when he turns 3 the bottles are going. I have to wean George too because it would be too difficult for Jack to understand why he can't have one too. I wish I had to advice for you but to be completely honest I'm totally dreading it. I'm sure the worst of it will be over in a day or two - well, hoping anyway.

Quick update on my crazy baby George. He's been walking since 10.5 months and is quite the little terror. He weighs about 27lbs and is about 31" tall. Much bigger than his brother was at that age. He is a complete opposite to his brother not only in size but also behaviour - Jack required no house baby proofing and who would cry when I said no. George looks straight at you and smiles while doing something he's not supposed to be doing (throwing food on the floor, pulling leaves off plants, playing with the stereo buttons, pulling my hair etc). He loves to wander, climb and laugh. He really is a little sweetheart. I'm so glad I had them so close together - they have started to play together and I can see the bond they're going to have.

Anyway, we had decided that two was our limit but after a birth control pill mishap and negative pregnancy test, I'm not so sure I'm ready to call it quits. I just have to convince the hubby.

Hope everyone is doing great. Glad to see there are some of us till posting.

CONGRATS Beegee!!! I've been silently stalking your guys' DDC lol. So fun to see you and Kristyn are preggo again! That's 3 of us now, right? Wonder how freakylady is doing.

Well my little guy took his first steps!!! He's not really walking on his own more than a step here or there, but I know it won't be long before he's running!

My implanon has been out for a few months already. Thought we might be preggo this month, but AF showed.

We have a baby!!!!

I had to have a couple of sweeps to get things going. then early labour started in the middle of the night with ad style cramps. At 9:30 the next morning, the regular contractions started and were 5 mins apart but manageable. So i spent the mornin at home bouncing on an exercise ball, leaning over the kitchen work surface and squatting. By lunchtime I had to stand and breathe through each one. Then i got two eye watering contractions and decided to call and go.in to hospital. It's just a 5/10 minute drive and in those mimutes, my waters broke ad I hovered over the car seat. And then I could feel baby crowning but t traffic lights were red. so dh decides to put the hazard ligjts on , blast the horn and drive through on the wrong side of the road and continued to do this at all the red lights! It was very police camera action! So as we arrive at t hospital the babys head is born. So we grab a wheelchair and I rife knelt backwards down the cotridor to the delivery suite. And the rest of baby is born just we get into the room. luckily i was wearing stretchy trousers. We then noticed baby had thr cord and my knickers around his neck. but after a minute Or so he started to cry and all wad and is fine :)
So it was as natural as you can get and not as painful as I wad expecting. Thanks for allyour help.
I was supposed to get antibiotics during labour because of the group b strep which didnt happen but so far all is well. I am one thrilled momma!

OH MY GOODNESS FREAKY LADY, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! What a crazy story, I'm so glad you are both okay, wow! Holy moly, that is a wild way to have a baby, you sure know how to make life exciting :) hahaha fantastic. :jump: :jump: So this is our first new baby since we all became June 2010 mamas! :)

Mamadru, how did that colposcopy go? I hope everything was okay. And your cycles have been normal since the IUD came out?

krzykt75 and Camsmommy, how did it go taking away the bottles from your little ones? I have been thinking of you guys and wanting to contact you for awhile to see how you did it. Eleni is very much in love with her bottles of milk and I don't know how to get her off of them. She'll take ANYTHING BUT MILK in a sippy cup, it's so frustrating. Do you guys have any tips and success stories? Hopefully it wasn't too traumatic for your boys (and their mommies, haha)!

Camsmommy, are you all settled in Florida now?

Legislady, how have you been? How are the boys?

AFM, still hanging out in the first trimester. Time can not go slower over here... have had some wicked nausea for the last few weeks and am already starting to show (grrrr!), which sucks bc I don't want to tell my workplace that I'm preg til I have that 12 week scan (October 3rd, wee!), and so I'm stuck trying to "suck it in" 24/7 at my lab and office. Suuuucks. I can't believe how fast my stomach is ballooning out... I didn't start showing until WELL into the 4th month with my first. That's how it goes, I guess!

FreakyLady- Congrats!!!!!!!! And what a birth story too!

Jeanie- sorry that AF showed.. that witch! Yay for your tots first steps though, it's so exciting!!!! Maybe if were lucky we will get to be in the same DDC again this time around?

Beegee- At least all is going well for your bean! Nausea sucks but it's a good sign. They say that the more pregnancies you have the quicker you show and get to feel baby moving. With Jr and bottles we started him a lil young on cuppies (abt 6 mos) and let him sip water out of them. He refused milk from them till he was 11 1/2 months and after that he didn't want anything to do with a bottle anymore. The only suggestion i have is to try a few different brands to see what she is more comfortable with and give her (this comes from my pedi) a small ammount of chocolate milk in her cup. It's every bit as nutritious as the white kind but since it is sweeter and has a different flavor they except it easier.

AFM- UGH... things are crazy for us. C is growing so fast and is such a picky eater but his vocabulary is great (really have to wath what we say because he repeats everything). Yes the IUD is out... that story (pardon me for length) I went in to have it removed and have my yearly done, good thing he was removing it, all of the problems I was having were due to the tip of it hanging out of my cervix! Colp was painful and I was 7 or 8dpo I think when I had that done. Got a BFP and then started bleeding.. guess it just wasn't my time yet. now were on our 3rd cycle and AF is just ending... cycles are still the way they were before charlie was born.. 21-24 days with O day at 15-17, so I'm thinking that I might need to get some progesterone. Results from the colp were as good as could be expected, Doc said that theey came back showing mild dysplasia so he wants to keep an eye on it but it's nothing serious... I have a ton of homework to do and for some reason charles has been demanding my attention alot more than usual this past week. I will check back in soon!

Freakylady--YAY!!! Our first new baby!!! :) Congratulations! And WOWSA, what a birth story!

Mamadru-- sorry about the BFP then early loss. Hopefully your cycles will get straightened out soon enough so you can get your next BFP and sticky bean! I've heard there are some supplements that can help you have a longer LP, too. I think one is called vitex. And I may be wrong, but think some people use soy. Might be worth some research and a cycle or two if you don't want to do progesterone again. :) Hope we can be DDC buddies again!

BeeGee-- so great to see your pregnancy progressing! :) I need to go see if you've posted any belly pictures yet. Hope you manage to keep a secret past your scan!

And yes, we are kind of TTC. I am temping, but not too faithfully. We are more NT/NP.....but seems more like trying this cycle.

Exciting things to think about though are that if I were to get my BFP this cycle I'd be due June 23'rd, and I was due June 24th last time! I'd be on exactly the same timeline lol.

I had my gallbladder out unexpectedly last month. I'm finally feeling back to normal.

I have two interviews for new jobs next month! Hoping to get out of the place I'm at since they treat me horribly and a few other issues that I am uncomfortable with. I am up for a job where I would only work week days and no holidays! Fingers crossed!

My little boy is walking more and more. He is such a happy little guy. He has 12 teeth now! Those molars are a pain to get in! Luckily though, those hylands teething tablets are back on the market and they are a God-send.

:) hope you're all doing well. I'll let you know if I get myself knocked up!

Congratulations FreakyLady!!! Great news, glad to hear all is well.

Beegee - I totally failed at the bottle thing. For whatever reason (excuse), I just haven't done it. Hopefully camsmommy has had better luck.

Well, I really can't remember the last time I was here, but George is doing great. Walking/running (since just over 10 months), still waiting for his eye teeth but has most of his molars (?). He seems prone to ear infections and has to see the ENT in a few weeks - we've been waiting to get in for about two months. I'm wondering if he needs tubes...we'll see. He sleeps like a champ, which is awesome. Loves his soother and I hate it. He's trying to talk more - Mommy, Daddy, no, uh-oh, up, out, Clyde-o (our dog), shoes....

Anyway, here he is in action. He's nuts.
