hi ladies!

As you saw, I had my baby girl! Her name is Ainsley and she is one month old (as of yesterday). Sorry I haven't been on, just wanted to pop by in the few free seconds I have before she cries again and say I have been thinking of you! I need to add you as friends on facebook because I can get on their easily on my phone app during late night nursing sessions.

No potty training here yet for DS. We keep trying but he just can't get anything to come out when he asks to sit and then ends up standing and having an accident. We'll keep trying but I think he'll be in diapers quite a while. He's having a hard time adjusting to the new baby anyway right now. He is in a toddler bed now (converted his crib) because he learned to climb out. Oh, and on the same day he decided to smear poop EVERYWHERE when he woke up from his nap! Oh, boys....

Congrats again on the girl, Mamadru! Sorry to hear things are going rough with the split.

thirdtimesacharm--good to hear from you!

And Beegee--congrats on the new baby! She's gorgeous.

Okay...my baby is crying, got to run!

Jeanie- How exciting!!!!! Enjoy your precious baby girl and post pics when you can get a chance!!!

AFM- Doc said baby is measuring small and I'm down another two pounds. I was told that with my history there is a high chance I'll only make it another 13 weeks at best that will only put me at 35 weeks. Hopefully the doc is wrong, but DS1 was born at 33 and after a few days in the nicu he was fine so keeping my fingers crossed that she stays put. Was also told that because she is smaller that if something were to happen before 30 weeks she wouldnt survive the trauma of being born... dang doctors, just when I was starting to think everything was great.

Oh Mamadru, I hope the doctors don't cause you too much stress! You need to do your best to relax, eat lots and take care of yourself. I know, hard to imagine with Charlie running around, but so important for you and the baby. And I'm sorry you have to deal with your ex, what an unfortunate nuisance right now.

Jeanie, congrats! Can't wait to see pics:) Hope you're getting some sleep. How long do you have home from work?

Hi Freakylady! It's good to see you back on here!

I can't believe that your little one is already 11 months. Last time you were on here I think you had just had him.
Potty training is going to be fun. Cameron has been showing a lot of interest in it but am not sure how to attack that one either. Maybe we can figure it out together...lol.

quick update on how things are going, then when I have more energy I will do personals. Did my glucose screening yesterday. 181!!!! yikes, 3 hour on wednesday (gunna fail it I just know it) and my iron was only at a 6.79 so I guess that means I'm a lil anemic too (hence all the napping). Hope everyone is doing well.

Camsmommy, hey! Things are good over here, how about you?

Eleni is right in the middle of the terrible twos right now, how about Cam? Everything is "NO!" No pants, no pyjamas, no socks, no shoes, no nap, no bed, no inside, no outside, you name it-- she says NO! It is highly frustrating. Defiance at its best... and DH and I keep telling ourselves "this too shall pass," as we remind ourselves she's only 2. Helps with the frustration and anger we feel sometimes. She can be the sweetest thing in the world, and then change at the snap of a finger into an angry, defiant two year old. OY!

Baby Amalia is doing well also... sweet and happy, and she'll be 6 months old soon, I can hardly believe it! 6 months left til i go back to work... we are so lucky to get a year long maternity leave here in Canada.

What's new on your end?

Mamadru, Jeanie, Freaklady! How are you guys!

Great to hear from you Beegee!

I completely get you on the whole defiant 2 year old. He drives me NUTS!!!! We have 2 good days and then 3 bad days. It alternates. He really does know what to do to push our buttons. The phrases we hear often are "No, I can do it", "I want to walk by myself", "No mommy! I don't hold hands." But then after bedtime when we cuddle to watch an episode of Caillou the cuddles he gives makes me forget about the crappy day we had. :P

I can't believe that Amalia is going to be 6 months already! Or that we all almost have 2 1/2 year olds! Time sure does fly!

Oh I forgot to mention this but about 2 weeks ago Cam and I were in a pretty major car accident. I was driving to get a gallon of milk and a lady ran a stop sign and I rammed into her driver side door. All airbags were deployed. She was deemed at fault and was also given a citation. Cameron and I were checked by firemen and an ambulance and thank God we were both fine...well Cam was anyways. His car seat protected him and that is all that I could have ever asked for. Not a broken bone or scratch on him. He did have a little teeny tiny cut on the inside of his mouth but that wasn't due to the car seat or anything. I had severe seatbelt burn/bruising. It went from my left shoulder to my right hip and from my left hip to my right hip (outline of the seat belt). I am just now getting over the bruising. There is one part on my body that looks like it is made of plastic because it was burned from the belt. I hope it goes away.

Anyhow, I just want to beg you all to check the installation of your car seats. Make sure that the manual for your car and the seat are read so that the car seat is used to its highest potential. I know you all probably have but I just want to spread the word. I would have died if anything happened to Cam. He is my whole world.
The lady's insurance company was refusing to replace Camerons car seat until I provided proof that it was no longer valid (he's a complete tool). Any where will tell you that if the airbags are deployed the car seat can no longer be used. Cam has a Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite seat so I called Safety 1st. I just wanted something in writing from them and they ended up sending me a brand spanking new one free of charge! I thought that was awesome!

Here are some pics. I drive a Dodge Charger...

OH MY GOD!!!! Thank god you guys are alright! that is so, so scary, you must have been so frightened. Amazing that your seatbelts and carseats did their jobs. Proven by your bruising-- you would have gone straight through the windshield with an impact like that. Shudder to think about it. What a miracle you both walked away unscathed, and thank god. Wow! thank you for the reminder to use the carseats properly... we have the seats installed correctly but sometimes I know I should do the straps up just a little tighter, you know?

Visited L&D today.... was leaking fluids of some sort. It's not amniotic fluid though, but FFN came back positive. Still waiting on the doc to call me back with the rest of my results, this little girl is giving me a run for the money now and were all just hoping she stays put for another 9 days. I'll do another update when they call me back.

I wish I had some good news... had an ob visit yesterday that brought me to tears. I have been in pain almost constantly with ctrx and when he did a check he said they were not progressing me and that he is pretty confident that I will have to be induced.

Beegee, how are the kiddos doing?
