Happy Turkey day!!! Hope the reveals were wonderful!

I enjoyed a few beverages today, so that's a silver lining to not being pregnant, right? :)

Well, I said a little prayer yesterday morning that I would be able to get through Thanksgiving without feeling too crappy and it worked! I had to carry a bottle of gingerale and a box of cheezits with me everywhere, but it kept the nausea manageable. Luckily for me, I seem to feel better in the evening, so I was able to eat a full Thanksgiving dinner.

My sister in law cornered me on the bathroom at the movies last night and said "Why are you drinking gingerale?!" I just stared at her then kind of smiled and she said "ARE YOU?!" So I told her. She's my husband's brother's wife and they are the only family that lives close by us. They knew we were trying so I didn't mind them finding out. My SIL started crying in the bathroom and gave me a big hug, then my BIL gave me a high five in the lobby lol.

I'm relieved that they know because I didn't want it to be a shock for my SIL who has had to put off having kids due to cancer and some other serious health problems. My MIL has been bugging her about it for close to a decade so it's a sensitive subject. Now that she's "in" on the secret, I hope that the Christmas reveal will be easier. And hopefully our little peanut will have a cousin in the next few years!

As far as morning sickness, I lucked out yesterday, but today I feel terrible. We'll be heading home this afternoon and I'm looking forward to cuddling up on the couch and not having to pretend I feel fine!

I've been drinking ginger ale. I don't get ms but it's one of the only flavored drinks that are ok to have so my husband buys lots of it.
Congrats on your mini reveal Becca!
It feels that much more real having people know about it!
We have a couple more reveals coming up mid December. It'll be great once everyone knows! :)

Thats great your reveal went so well kathy!
Becca, im glad you were able to mostly keep your secret and enjoy thanksgiving! I bet its nice to be able to have the secret with sil.

Thanksgiving went well. I was just tired from cooking all day and then could barely eat a small plate. I have been really full really fast. Did a little shopping this morning and was able to find a couple things the girls wanted. Other than that, black friday was overrated this year. I was really nervous today, as this was the same day gestation I mc last time, but so far so good. Fx. Getting closer to my apt and feeling more confident by the day.

You guys, I am so sick. What did you do to ease morning sickness? I have looked up a ton of stuff and tried it, but it has gotten progressively worse over the last few days. I was up all night throwing up and I can't do anything today without feeling like I'm going to throw up again. I can't keep anything down. Gingerale isn't helping, I've been munching on dry cereal but I can only eat a flake or two at time and I gag as I try to swallow it.

I've been trying to find another doctor that can get me in sooner than the one I am scheduled with, but have had no luck so far with it being Saturday. When I searched for urgent care on my insurance provider's page, they only came up with clinics that are closed on the weekends, or at least 45 minutes away from here. I just want somebody to give me some drugs! I even called and begged my old doctor's office to call in a prescription, but it's been just over a year since I was there so they can't unless they see me, and they have no openings available this week. I'm so frustrated I want to cry!

Have you tried the bracelet? When I was on my honeymoon they were selling these bracelets for sea sickness, we were on a cruise obviously. I've heard they work for ms as well. They weren't too pricey. I'm not sure how they work but if they're safe I'd try it! I'm sorry you're so sick! Hopefully it eases up for you soon!

Oh no becca! That's awful! I agree with kathy, I have heard those bracelets work because they activate a pressure point. It might be something worth trying. Try making a tea with actual ginger root.

Check it out, it uses acupuncture! They sell them at Walmart, I guess!

Yeah, I bought some of the bracelets last night. They aren't doing much. :(

I'm at urgent care now. I found one that my insurance page didn't list, but it is contracted with them. Luckily it's not too busy so I should be the next person called back.

This is NOT fun!

Hopefully they give you something! I was reading about the bracelets if you have skinny wrists they might not work unless you put two on. One on top of the other.

Oh no, Becca? Can you get any fluids down?? You might be dehydrated so I'm glad you went to urgent care. Any updates?

I got a prescription for an anti nausea med that dissolves on the tongue. I and dehydrated, but I declined IV fluids to keep costs down, thinking if I got the meds in me I could drink a little more. I've now been waiting at the pharmacy now for 45 minutes and I feel like I'm going to pass out. I don't know what's taking them so long- there's no one else here! I just want my meds and I want to go home!
