It makes mornings so hard!

I don't know if I mentioned this before but my cousin had me do the Chinese gender chart. I remember doing it in 2012 and it saying I was having a girl. I already knew I was having a girl at that point. This time it's saying boy!
It's just for fun but it's got a 50% chance of being right haha. What does it say for everyone else?
Just Google chinese gender chart.
Something fun! It'll be interesting to see how many of us have it accurate.

Mine says I am having a boy too, but I don't believe in it. It said Lily was going to be a boy too, and that didn't happen! I can't wait to try the placenta theory on monday! 3 more days!

I was sooo tired this morning, I ended up taking a nap at 9:30 am in the living room, and woke up at 11:30 still tired!

Hmm mine says girl. I'll be interested to see!

If you're having trouble sleeping at night, you can try unisom. I have to assume if it's safe to use for morning sickness, it's got to be safe to use for it's prescribed purpose, which is a sleep aid. It doesn't work as well as a sleep aid as whatever is in Tylenol or Advil PM, but it's worth a try if you need a little extra help.

Yesterday the pharmacist said my medication should be ready for pick up by noon, but to call and check to make sure it was delivered this morning. I called at noon and got the same girl from yesterday. As I was explaining why I was calling she was very confused and then finally asked what it was called again. As soon as I said DICLEGIS really slow and loud for her, she goes "Oh..... THAT one." She then put me on hold for 10 minutes and finally came back and said yes, it was delivered this morning and can I just give them an hour or two to have it ready?

I understand that I am not their only customer, but I'm about ready to switch back to the pharmacy in my grocery store. I picked rite aid because they have a drive through, but every experience I've had with them in the past two weeks has made me want to kill someone!

At this point it doesn't matter when they have it ready, since the beginning dose is in the evening, but I'm worried about having to go get it and throwing up in the car again. My husband is out being a dirt biking lumberjack today, sawing down trees and doing trail work at our ORV park, so he's not available to go get it (plus I don't trust the pharmacy to actually give it to him.) I'm so tired of feeling so gross and not being able to keep food down. I know the diclegis takes about 3 days to build up and really start working, so I just want to get it in my system.

At least I already had this week off of work...

Wow. How ridiculous. Do you still have any zofran to use in the meanwhile? Maybe you should make a complaint?

I would go crazy! Make sure you write this all down for about 16 years down the road when you need to start the old guilt trip haha I already use mine on my husband so I can have more say over the name. We are still bickering over a boys name but we agreed on the girls name pretty easily. Idk why we can't agree on a boys!

I do have some zofran, but it hasn't been helping. It's a smaller dose than they gave me at urgent care, so I think it wears off faster. I've tried taking them more frequently, but with this weeks new symptom of severe constipation, there is just a lot of unhappiness going on in my belly. It's gotten progressively worse each day this week. At first I thought the unisom/b6 was working, but it is definitely not anymore. The diclegis took a few days to really start working and, although I wasn't totally back to normal, I was SO much better than the last couple of days.

I am feeling a little bit more optimistic at the moment, because I feel like there is an end in sight. Last time I looked at the calendar, I was really depressed to see that it had been barely 2 weeks, and I likely had another month of this to deal with, and that's the best case scenario. I just pulled up the calendar again, and counted instead from where the nausea first started setting in, not when it got so terrible that I went to urgent care. Looking at it that way, I have almost 3 weeks behind me and 3 more to go. That makes me feel like I've made it half way instead of just starting out! If the diclegis can get me through this last week and half of work, I'll have another week and half of vacation and then hopefully it won't be so terrible! I'm trying to forget about all the stories I've heard of people dealing with morning sickness for longer than 6 weeks. My sister said hers always went away around 12 weeks, so I'm hoping mine will too!

I'm sure you will get major relief when the glorious second trimester starts! Don't worry about that. Just be excited to start enjoying your pregnancy soon. I've read #1 severe morning sickness is associated with being pregnant with a girl (hopefully your case) and #2 the baby's movement is what causes a lot of the queezy, so that's a good sign the baby is doing well! I know not all healthy pregnancies develop morning sickness but signs of things going well are fantastic!

Haha, yes, Kathy. When I went to my first appointment the first thing the nurse asked was how I had been feeling. I said "Absolutely terrible." and she said,"Great! That's what we like to hear!" I know it's a great sign that things are going well in there, I'm just really tired of being so miserable!

In other news, I just heard from Russ and he's on his way home. At least now I can drag him along to the pharmacy with me. It's less embarrassing to you throw up in a store if someone else is with you, right?

I hope you get that medicine in you asap! I have been feeling not well this week, but then i think about you becca, and tell myself i dont have it that bad. Lol. Do you carry any plastic bags or anything with you so you could throw up in them? I had to do that last time just in case when i was feeling really rotten. Luckily i never had to actually use it.

Kathy the 2nd tri is really coming up kinda soon! Its my favorite time of pregnancy!

Yeah, I have some, but unfortunately the one time I really needed one, they were on the other side of the car while I was driving. Luckily it wasn't much and I caught most of it in my hand. I was able to pull over and clean it up, but it wasn't a great experience lol.

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. As much as it pleases me to hear I'm not completely alone, I wouldn't wish morning sickness on anyone. It's bad enough when you have to suffer through the stomach flu for a day or two, but persistent nausea is so wearisome and draining. I am just counting my lucky stars that at least I can sleep at night now! There were a couple of days before urgent care where I was awake all night because of how bad my stomach hurt. Now, as soon as my head hits the pillow, I'm out. And this week, I've been able to wake up, take more meds, and go back to sleep. At the very least it has filled a few extra hours that I would otherwise be miserable!
