Hope so! Idk why I am doing this to myself, but I'm watching a movie on netflix about a girl that was babynapped from the hospital!

That would be terrifying! I'm glad my hospital is so paranoid. Only nurses can go into the baby room and each time before they'll give baby to me they check to make sure our bracelets match and they'll only give baby to me! That's after every single time they need to take baby out of the room for anything at all.
I'm feeling baby movements stronger now. It's great! Excited for tomorrow to set up next ultrasound! Yay!

I'm giving birth at a different hospital, so I'm not entirely sure how it is there. But I'm pretty sure it's the same because my other hospital was the same as yours. This movie took place in like the early 80s, so of course it was easier to do that back then.
Can't wait for your apt tomorrow! I believe my regular apt is on monday.

Thank God things have changed! I'd be doing a home birth if it was something to still worry about. My appointment is at 9am, so that's 7am your time. So I'll be updating how everything went pretty early!

Homebirths scare me. I am a what if type person and I'd rather be safe than sorry. They seem so nice though.
I love that time difference! I get to see all your stuff early!

Yeah I'd only do one if there was a risk of someone taking off with my baby. Otherwise no way. I do the epidural! Plus you never know if an emergency will happen and need a c section. I personally hope I never need one but you never know.

Exactly. No one counts on an emergency happening! I'd feel awful if I did a homebirth and something happened.
I got epidurals both times, but with zari i got it so late I might as well have gone all the way. I was 7 cm and at 7 pm and she wasnt born until 11:28. I believe the epidural really slowed down my labor. But I am scared of tearing without an epidural.

Because of the scar tissue from my back surgery they have to inject me higher so the epidural only effected me in my belly. I felt the rest of the birth and actually welcomed being cut because I couldn't take it anymore after pushing for almost an hour. The only part that was painful involving the episiotomy was being sewn back up.

Oh wow. My epidural lasted till the next morning I was still numb and dh had to change the first couple diapers zari had since I couldnt move around very well yet. That's exactly what I am afraid of! I know the contractions at that point are miserable, but I was handling it. The ripping or if I have to get an episiotomy scare me! I had an episiotomy with lily and tore so badly it was awful! With zari no episiotomy , just a natural tear and recovery was sooo much easier.
I think if its another girl, I might try to go all natural, since odds are she'll be Zari's sizeish. 8lb 4oz. But if it's a boy, odds are he'll be huge, so I'll want the epidural!

Everyone was changing Jadyn's diapers, I didn't even change one until she was a few days old. I've made up for it since haha.

Oh wow. Dh helped me change Lily's first meconium filled diaper. But that was pretty much it except for helping with emergency changes. I missed seeing Zari's first poop cause he changed it while I was sleeping.
Zari has been potty trained since before she was 3, but she still pees at night many nights of the week. I hope she stops soon, but idk. My little brother did it till he was like 10. :0

Jadyn isn't exclusively using the potty yet but I'm trying! She's such a stubborn girl sometimes. I've got 5 months and 3 weeks to get her away from diapers!
