No the baby is still 15 weeks, 4 days but just has a lot of room to swim around since I was so stretched out with my daughter last time.
I gained 10 lbs from my last appointment and had 3 nurses tell me that's not good.
Idk what they want me to do! I try to make the best food decisions and only eat when I'm hungry. I don't overly stuff myself and I exercise at least 30 min a day!

Oh I know! My nurse was going over my history and said "you had your daughter at 37 weeks and she was 8lbs 5oz, wow!" I'm like yeah that's what I'm afraid of this time! If I go to 40 or more weeks the baby is going to be around 10 pounds! Even if girl, I'll bet! But since they're basically telling me to ignore my hunger pains and just eat like I did before I was pregnant so I don't gain weight maybe the baby will be smaller.

They'll do that to you! Ugh I really hate thinking about the weight. I never gain it evenly, say oh 2-4 lbs a month or anything. It'll be like 8 lb this month 2 lb next month 7 the month after.
I think as long as you are eating mostly healthy and are active, then what will be will be. Maybe try more water and some gum in between. But I believe if you're hungry, it's cause the baby needs something. Maybe that something is an apple and not a pizza, but still something. Lol

I've been eating mostly fruit and vegetables though and have been doing moderate cardio 40 mins a day so I'm not entirely sure how i gained so much. Usually I have a granola bar if I get hungry but maybe I'll have to switch it to a couple carrot sticks in stead. I'm only up 7 pounds from my 8 week appointment but I'd lost 3 after losing my appetite and then gained 10 but they don't look at the whole pregnancy just one month of it.

It sounds like you are doing great. Do you drink a lot of juice or anything? That can add up. Maybe I am a bad influence, but keep doing basically what you are doing already.

I don't drink juice at all. I drink 5 to 6 bottles of water a day. Occasionally I'll have a coffee or soda but only one a day and its not often. All I can think is the granola bars but I need something quick and somewhat filling when hunger strikes

Maybe hard boil some eggs and a few in the fridge. An egg only has like 70 calories and the protein will help with the hunger.

Very true! Thanks for the advice! My mom has been hard boiling eggs lately and I put them in my salad when I visit but they would be a good snack on their own!

I need to start doing that too! The girls love them and I like them. They're just something I usually forget about. Till right now! Lol

I agree, Kathy. If you're eating pretty healthy and getting exercise, it makes no sense to ignore when your body is telling you you need to eat!

Question about getting sick when pregnant- do you get WAY more severe symptoms? I caught a cold/flu that everyone at work has had and I am SO sick again. Fever, chills, pounding headache, and really sore throat. All of that makes the morning sickness worse so I haven't been able to keep much food down. The other girls said they had the same symptoms, but only for a few hours, then just a sore throat for a few days. I've slept 16 out of the last 24 hours and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. Luckily the Tylenol seems to control the fever, but it does nothing for the terrible headache and body aches. :(

I think so becca. I get sick more frequently and for longer.

Oh yeah! Our immune systems vanish so our bodies won't abort the baby. Living where it's so cold right now I learned that plenty. Luckily eating kiwis and Brussels Sprout have kept me healthy despite having people at home cough in my face. If you can keep things down any time soon I recommend kiwi for sure! I've heard most recently it has the highest vitamin C of any fruit.
