I use Playtex Ventaire & Dr. Browns, I really love the Dr. Brown nipples so I usually just use them with the Playtex bottle.

Love the Nuk brand - it was the only thing DD would take after trying everything!

I absolutely LOVED the Playtex Drop-ins. DS was colicy, and it really helped with that, as I could push all of the air out. The bottles heated quite quick in warm water as compared to my crappy, leaky glass Evenflo bottles I had originally bought.

The good thing about the drop-ins is that there is very little bottle cleaning to do. You just throw away the liner, wash the covers, rings, and bottle itself in the sink/dishwasher, and if you have latex nipples, you aren't wven supposed to sterilize them as they will become rubbery. All I did was wash them in hot, soapy water, rinse, and soak in quite hot but not boiling water for a few min and air-dry. You can sterilize the silicone ones though. I LOVED these for the reason that I wasn't washing and sterilizing bottles countless times a day. This also made it easy to travel with (hotels, etc), because where do you sterlize then?

The only bad thing is the liners can get expensive over time. Don't judge me, but when he was like 9+ months, I would wash, rinse, and reuse the liners 3 or 4 times. Meh-he was putting everything in his mouth already, and he is perfectly fine now.

A friend had used Dr. Brown's, and she loved the bottle, but hated how many parts and how much time you spend cleaning all of them.

Good luck!

We are using the Playtex Ventaire, and I love them, except I feel like there is so much bottle washing to do! 5 pieces to each bottle is a lot. I am washing bottles once a day, with having a newborn, about 7 bottles at a time.

We were given a sample of the drop in's and I was nervous to try them. After reading your post Tanya I might try it. I was thinking they would be good for outings, less bulk to carry around. Did your LO have gas at all with them?

After putting up with Medela bottles for her first 3 months, we bought some Playtex Ventaire and I'm very happy with them. The vent is important, VERY important!

I had a sample of Playtex Drop-Ins from my baby shower and I liked them fine, but the cost of the liners is the same as the cost of diapering a second baby. Just didn't have the money for it.
