stroller suggestion for low budget

Postby bren » Sun Aug 23, 2009 12:34 am

I'm looking for a stroller that will easily accomodate my newborn (as in needs to recline as far back as possible for sleep), as well as be great as the baby grows. Of course, smooth wheels are needed but I don't want the really bulky ones. I currently have a Graco travel system and as smooth as it is, it's just WAY too bulky for me and doesn't even fit in my trunk. I need something that is lightweight, one hand fold, and easily fits in the trunk with extra space for groceries and such.

Oh, I live in India so I'll be getting it when I'm in the States next year, but it needs to be compact enough for the flight/airport.

Please...any suggestions? I've found a lot, but they are WAY out of my budget. I'm looking at no more than 100 dollars.

I would recommend looking for a used one at a consignment store or on Craig's List. You can get a really nice one in great condition for a fraction of the cost of a used one.

i agree with PP ... craigs list is great you can find almost anything... i would avoid the carseats ( i know you didnt ask about them) because even though the person may clam its ok and in excellent condition you never really know and when it comes to your baby i know at least i would feel better knowing it is brand new... but stroller or anything i would say craigs list is the place to look. Not sure what the budget is but we really like our Combi Cosmo EX Stroller. It reclines, it's light, folds/open very easy & is compact with a strap for easy carrying.
