Peg Perego Aria Twin 60/40 Stroller

Postby maureen » Sat Jan 16, 2010 5:54 pm

Does anyone have this stroller? We are trying to decide if we should get this one. I have a Chicco carseat...it isn't made to fit in the stroller, but it does work enough. I just wonder if you like the stroller. It will be used on smooth surfaces, we have a single BOB we'll use on rough terrain.

I tested it in the store ... was thinking about using my Chicco carseat in it too though it's not "made for it". But with the Chicco seat placed in the "60" section and toddler in the more narrow "40" section, I felt like the older child doesn't not have much room left. So I ended up getting Zooper tango which is a double stroller and "officially" accepts Chicco carseats.

I had the regular Aria stroller with my first daughter and it was the WORST. I threw it out. I steered itself and after a while the screw in the handle came out and I could even fold it down. Also it had no storage or tray space. Now of course the Aria twin could be much better, but I personally wouldnt buy a Peg. I think you are paying for the name and nothing else. Good luck!

I was just curious what you ended up getting. I have a chicco carseat as well, and I'm looking into a double stroller for this coming November. (My only problem will be that my 17 month old DS is already 35 lbs and a lot of the double strollers have a weight limit of 40 lbs per seat....:/)
