I am only 5'4" but my stroller's handles are pretty high, imo...higher than other strollers I've used/had. i've had this stroller for 16 months and have used it almost daily and love it.

I'm 5'10 and have the pliko p3. I like the height a lot, other than that, the stroller is just "OK" in my opinion. For the money we paid, I think we could have done better. I find the basket very small after using the Graco Snugrider infant carseat stroller frame for the first 7 months, and the cup holder always falls off. Also when folded I still find the stroller quite heavy.

BTW if you're interested the Graco stroller frame is so lightweight and awesome for daily errands & travel (if you use a graco infant seat in the car) - it doesn't do well in the snow though. Also the handle bar extends upward to the perfect height for us tallies :D

oooh glad to hear that you aren't enamored with the p3 as i have one sitting in my bedroom right now. really been thinking about taking it back but it was the last one at the store and want to be sure before returning it.

worried about the lack of a snack tray with the maclaren - any thoughts on that?

also, really liking the kolcraft online - need to find somewhere to try it out in person.

Yeh, you're right, there is no snack tray on the Maclaren...

But I don't let Brayden eat in the stroller. It's too pretty.

I love my kolcraft. i have a fiend who has the 3w one after seeing my 4w one. I've never seen it in a store, though.

the sun canopy on it is huge and is not attached at the back...making it soo easy to get babe covered. it also turns effortlessly with one hand.

I think it's heavy, but I was used to a VERY light weight umbrella. The handle folds down and the basket pulls up to fold it all. the wheels are pretty large which makes it great to go up/down steps and in bad weather. it's similar in style to a bugaboo...but a little less "sleek". If you will have to fold up a stroller for the bus, etc, I would recommend getting a very very lightweight umbrella with a strap on the back for carrying. This was what I would have gotten if we lived where we did with dd...I used a trolly often and that would have been easiest. But it would not have had all the extras like a nice big basket, etc. If you're going to be on the subway then you would be fine, as you wouldn't need to fold it. hth.

I don't know if it helps, but we got a quinny (DH is 6'5 and I'm a lowly 5'2 so we need one with lots of adjustability) We are both pretty happy with it.
cheers

I had my brother try out strollers for me bc he is the tallest in our family, 6'6". He really liked the chicco. It was the only one where the handles came up enough that he didn't have to stoop over to push the stroller.

We're getting the Chicco. Dh tried it at the store and liked the adjustable handle. He's 6'5", so we go with whatever works for him! Lol
