7w6d and light spotting, mild cramping

Postby Tinleykw16 » Mon Sep 30, 2013 2:06 pm

Got my bfp from my first clomid cycle, lots of symptoms and felt pretty good until today....had a drop or two of fresh blood, now slightly brown cm. having some really mild cramping. At first I panicked, but then realized there's nothing I can do either way. I researched a little & also realized that this is about normal time for my period to start. Anyone else experiencing this? I just want some peace & to know its ok. First US isn't until next Tuesday. That seems like forever away.:(

Hi Tinley, sorry about the spotting. I have been having very similar spotting as well starting from about 5 weeks, and it's continued off and on. My first ultrasound went fine, though. And, you're right, there's not much you doc can do for you in the meantime. Maybe you can ask your doc about progesterone supplementation as that's something they could add. I did take it really easy, propped my feet up whenever I could. I did take one day off from work when I had a trickle of blood overnight. I know docs say spotting is normal, but my acupuncturist insists that it's not normal, so I don't know! Just try to take it easy as much as possible! Hoping for great news for your Tuesday!

Best,

Thanks Menehune- it seems to be going away today. Had blood work done yesterday & no phone call today, so assuming we're alright. So scary though. Glad to hear your us looked good! Mines on Tuesday & it can't get here fast enough!
