So excited for you puppy mom!!! I wish you two good sleeping babies!

I'm still doing OK. My girl likes to party all night and sleep all day. Keeping us busy! It's pretty crazy still. I just look at her and cry sometimes.... Just with all that we've gone through.

How you feeling tess?

Feeling pretty good. Some days I feel huge already and get tired but other days I still feel pretty good. Nursery is set up and I bought her a take home outfit today! Only need to get the car seat and we will be pretty set. Less than 6 weeks to go! :)

It seems like the whole pregnancy goes by so slow until the last few weeks where it flies by.

Jean, glad to hear that baby is doing good even though she is a night owl.

Had the babies and they are perfect. 6 lbs and 11 oz and 6 lbs 4 oz for both babies birth wait. We will all be going home Tues. So much love for these little ones. Hope to be able to share the birth story later when we all settle in at home.

Tess, can't wait to hear the good news from you in a couple weeks.

Jean, how have you been postpartum?
I had a lot of anxiety and hot flashes. Both seem to be decreasing but I hate to be hot so the flashes intensify the anxiety. I look forward to errands. We take the babies with us. I feel so cooped up. When the temp outside is not so humid I'm hoping to go for walks. Babies have had a tough time gaining their weight back so have been supplementing with formula. Have a weight check tomorrow. Pretty nervous...

Hey puppy mom- I had the baby blues BAD. No anxiety or hot flashes here. I just cried a lot for a week and felt kinda like, wtf did we just do. I knew at the time that thinking was so stupid, like, we did ivf and do much to get here!!! Now I'm good though. I think it was just all the hormones settling down. Probably what's happening with your hot flashes.

I can't wait to go out with her either! I don't want to take her out and about yet since she's feeding so irregularly. Can't wait until she can interact and play with me while I shop ;-)

Are you trying to breastfeed twins? I would be doing tons of formula if I were you, breastfeeding one kid is driving me nuts. We have done some formula here and there because I'm just over it sometimes. I hope your appt goes well. Let us know!

I feel like you all are so much further out than me. I'm 35 wks and 5 days and I'm really starting to feel ready. My back just started hurting a few days ago and it's making it harder and more painful to get around. I still have a little over 3 wks to go so I'm trying not to let it get to me yet. And I know she should stay in there at least another week or two.

Tess, you'll be there before you know it! I hope you have an easy delivery and will be holding your little one soon.

Jean, glad to hear the baby blues only lasted about a week. I am currently waiting to hear back about going on medication for postpartum anxiety. My little ones are the only thing that calm me. I am having constant panic attacks and am unable to sleep. The past few days have been unbearable and I'm just not functioning.

The babies lost some more weight so the Dr asked us to supplement 6 oz of formula into their nursing. We have another appointment tomorrow morning to check the weights.

The nurse who is working on getting me the prescription also made an appointment with the psychologist I was seeing during IVF. It's been convenient that RE/OB is on the same floor.

I'm not sure how much longer I can continue to breastfeed two babies. It's very rough when you're not sleeping... It doesn't help with us having a hot and humid summer.

Sorry to complain so much. I have 2 beautiful children. Just having a hard time coping for now.
