Hi everyone,

Bit of a panic here. I started bleeding red blood that lasted for a few minutes, maybe 5 minutes. A bit of backstory is that I've noticed the crinone excess has been tinted with brown. I understand that Crinone irritates the cervix. I've been checking obsessively since then and the only thing I've seen is excess Crinone tinted with brown. I tried calling the RE office but the answering service didn't pick up.

I think everything is okay, but I'm still a bit panicked. I'll keep everyone updated. :(

Praying everything is okay! I do know someone who had twins who bleed a lot during the first trimester. Try to drink lots of water and rest as much as you can.

We had been intimate Weds night and all was fine Thursday. After that incident yesterday which I guess from my reading is to be classified as spotting since it only lasted a few minutes, has not happened since. I've been checking relentlessly and everything looks good. I really think this may have been a result of the Crinone. I'm on it twice a day for about 6 more days. I've been on it for over 2 months like you ladies on your PIO. At first I was scared to be off of it but now I don't want to take it because I'm pretty sure that was the cause. I took it last night and was okay but I'm delaying taking this morning. I'm going to call my RE nurse on Monday since I haven't been seen by OB yet.

I'm now 12w1d. We did not tell over the holidays. I think we would have if we were normal people, but we are just being over cautious due to ivf.

We are telling in January when our parents come to visit from out of state.

Also- I've never thrown up with ms but I would say my symptoms def got worse at 11 weeks. Now I'm dizzy when I first stand up, back muscles feel sore, and not very hungry. I'm obviously a late bloomer!

Happy New Years Eve!

I plan on being in bed this year. Zzzzzzz

Jean, you are being so patient! DH has already told so many people, he just can't help himself. The official announcement will likely be Jan 16th which will put me at 12w2d.

I called the RE on Monday but the nurse didn't call me back til late and I missed the call! She left me a message and I called her back on Tuesday. She offered to get me an ultrasound on Wednesday but I had a work obligation I couldn't get out of. So finally today I got to see the babies!!! They actually look like babies!! Baby B was wiggling around so much. Unfortunately DH couldn't get off work so he didn't get to see the wiggle.

Both babies look great and there's no indication as to what caused the bleeding. The nurse said that bleeding can be from the placenta moving and a tiny tear and she also said bleeding is more common with twins.

I haven't been scheduled for the OB nursing visit yet but I do have my official OB appointment with the doctor on 1/15. I can't believe this is all really happening!!

So glad to hear that the ultrasound showed two healthy babies! I have heard bleeding is more common with twins, but when it starts, all common sense flutes out of the window. Just glad all is good!

What about you other ladies? Any updates? I miss the chatting

I know! Where's @threedog and @onmyway?!

I'm 6wk 2days today. Starting to feel sore breasts and a little nauseous at odd times. I was just straining some chicken stock and I had to lay down on the couch... Started to feel hot and queasy... And it's 9:30pm! Hoping that's a good sign. I am on 2 kind of progesterone though... But these symptoms are new for me. When I had my mc last year I never really got nauseous.

@puppymom so glad to hear everything is okay! Has the realization you're having twins hit you yet?

@jean what's it feel like to be almost done with your first trimester?!

I feel like the rest of you are miles ahead of me. Are anyone you showing yet? Did your RE release you to a regular OB after your first ultrasound? I'm just excited to finally make the call and schedule my first appt!

You're doing great tess! Everyone has different symptoms at different times I'm noticing. I started feeling like crap at 11 weeks. Felt fine, but support tired, before then.

I start week #13 tomorrow. Praying all is going to continue to go well. I'm a teacher so I'll be going back to school. I just know I'm gonna be sorry tired this week. Cereal for dinner! Ha-ha

I wouldn't say I'm showing yet but I'm def looking majorly chunky. Like, suck it in girl. I'm not announcing at work for a few more weeks so I will just wear baggy things and say I ate a lot at Christmas ha-ha. Waiting for my cute bump!

Ooh and I didn't get released to my ob until after our 8 week ultrasound. I scheduled the appt after our six week though bc I wanted to not have to wait forever. Glad I did too bc the earliest they wanted to see me was almost a month away. That made all my appts every 2 weeks which was nice to look forward to :-)

I was just curious if anyone else experienced this. Bc I have do vaginal suppositories I've noticed the position of my cervix. A few days before my bfp I noticed my cervix was low and firm. And it feels like some days it will rise and other days it comes down low again. It really worries me sometimes... Hoping it doesn't mean I'm going to mc. Anyone notice anything similar?
