No worries about over share tess. We just told our parents this past weekend but no one else knows. And we are still keeping the whole ivf thing between my husband and I. It's too emotional to share just yet. I'm not in any state of mind to deal with the questions and comments.

OK- now onto your share- girl you need to STOP putting things up there!!!! Lol the color could be lots of stuff. Progesterone? Vitamins? Maybe minor infection? You were right to email nurse, but watch what you put up there! Ha-ha let us know what they say!

Haha!! I wish I didn't have to stick anything up there but I have to do suppositories (estrace and progesterone) 3x a day! I seriously cannot wait till I'm done I even tried to convince the doctor that I should stop but she said I have to take them until I'm 10 weeks. 1 more week to go! You all will be so glad you don't have to hear anymore weird cervical/discharge stories!! Haha!

On another note... All this makes me terrified to be intimate with my husband. :( I seriously don't know when we'll ever have sex again.

Yeah don't stop the progesterone yet. I took one a night, every night, until 14 weeks just to be sure.

I also haven't had sex for like 2 weeks. Luckily my husband is great about it. All this ivf stuff has really made us appreciate what is happening and super protective of it. We don't want to ruin anything!!! My drive is 0 so he is just dealing with himself ;-)

I've been resistant about sex and I can't even remember the last time...

My 10 week ultrasound looked great and one of the babies was wiggling up a storm.

I had an OB appointment last Thursday which was 12 weeks and since my tummy was blocking the Doppler read I got another ultrasound - although it was low quality. One baby was wiggling up a storm and the other had its thumb in its mouth and then started kicking the active baby.

My next ultrasound is Feb 5th which will put me a day past 15 weeks. My OB did a pap and he warned me about bleeding, but it was scary when the bright red blood came. He explained that the cervix has a large blood supply now, especially with twins.

We announced the pregnancy on Sunday. It felt great to get it out. I haven't told my direct boss yet because I work out of a satellite office and even though I go to the main office once a week, I want to hold off til our big meeting the beginning of Feb.

I don't know why I feel so hesitant to tell my boss. I'm still working on accepting this is real. I started registering at Babies R Us. :p

That's so exciting puppymom! I'm sure it's becoming more real all the time... Especially seeing the babies move and suck their thumb! I guess with twins you'll have ultrasounds pretty frequently, huh?

Yes with multiples you get an ultrasound once a month.

Today I am 13w1d. I think around 14 weeks they can hear and around 18 weeks they start kicking. I can't wait. I need the reassurance. I'm continuing to buy babies items to stock up.

I thought that by now I would have a major decrease in nausea and increase in energy but that doesn't seem to be happening.

I started feeling better in week 14 puppy mom, so hopefully you're on your way! Might take a bit longer with twins, I'm not sure how that works! So jealous of your monthly ultrasounds! Our next one isn't for four more weeks. Booooo.

How you doing tess? Not sticking extra stuff up your business, right? Lol ;-). Where did our other member go!?

Doing ok! No extra stuff up there... No weird drainage thank goodness! My husband and I did do the deed though... And surprisingly it went really well and didn't have anything spotting or anything from that. So I guess I did put something else up there. But you know what I mean. ;)
Only 6 more days of suppositories and shots!!!!

When did you all stop your progesterone? They told me to stop at 10wks... But I just realized I only have enough to make thru 9wk6days. How big a deal do you think it is to stop 1 day short?

I don't think it's a big deal. I missed a couple morning doses right before the 10 week mark and it was fine.

Hello all:) glad to read everyone is doing well! I really haven't had much happening which was a blessing after all the ivf nightmares. I stopped with progesterone shots about ten days ago thank god! We heard lil bubs heart again Friday and he sounds good:)
I have one issue going on tho that's been weirding me out- very itchy feet and hands. My midwife just called me back and said it is unusual and need my liver tested asap:/ of course I couldn't help but look more into this and I'm scared all these ivf drugs have damaged my liver. Does anyone else have these symptoms? It's just so hard to compare with gals that didn't go thru ivf and overall, I haven't heard of anyone having these weird symptoms. I was so grateful everything was going along so nicely. I really felt like I could relax now. Ugh. Any experiences to share out there??
Thank you and good night xxxx

I stopped progesterone inserts after my 14 week appt with the obgyn. She said keep taking them until I saw her again, which worked out to be 14.

Im still not showing at 16 weeks. My midsection is obviously fatter but since I have a long torso I just look super bloated or like I gained weight. No cute bump here. Wondering when that will happen :-). I'm planning on not telling at work until my next appt, so I have about two and a half weeks to wear lots of bulky sweaters.

So glad to hear from you again, onmyway!!! I've not had the itchy get and hands thing. Nor have I ever heard of it. Very strange. Keep us updated- when do you go in for testing?

It's nice to hear from you onmyway!

I haven't had those particular symptoms. Hopefully it's something that is easily treatable. Keep us posted!

The weird symptom I've been having is I wake up at night very hot and my face very red. I lay back down with less covers and/or lighter pjs and then I fall back to sleep. Bad dreams most nights too but I hear that's normal.

So..... Sunday Target online had the cribs I like (Davinci Kalini) on sale and came with a mattress for free. They'll be here Monday 2/1. I got a brand new diaper genie off Craigslist for $10 and a baby lamp for $20. If I order the changing table directly from Davinci, they throw in a changing pad with safety buckle for free. My husband doesn't want to set up any of the furniture until he redoes the floor and who knows when that will happen. I'm a planner. I want things done now.

Just counting down the days til my next ultrasound on 2/5...

Anybody felt their baby(ies) move yet?!

I'm off my meds now and trying to patiently wait for my first appointment in 2 weeks!
