*update* made a fitted sheet!

Has anyone ever made a fitted sheet?

I just got one of these playpens and the extra fitted sheets were $40 8O

Luckily it came with one but I want to make a couple of spares. The "mattress" is just a padded board, similar to a pack & play mattress.

Has anyone ever made a fitted sheet? I think I'll have to have seams because I'm pretty sure it's wider than a standard piece of fabric. I have some Dr. Seuss fabric that I could patch together, which I think will look really cute. The seams won't bother the baby, right?

If anyone has ever seen or used a tutorial, please send me a link!

*update*

I made it! I kinda winged it after reading some tips online. It's my first time quilting anything at all. It's not perfect but I'm happy with it!

I used iron-fusible batting which was nice because my biggest apprehension about making a quilt top was all the pinning involved - I hate pinning anything lol.

You did an awesome job! Awesome color coordination. I am with you on pinning lol. I have never tried fusible batting, I will have to look into that.

thanks!

I got the iron-fusible batting at Jo-anns it was like $5 on sale for a nursery/crib sized piece. It takes some pressing and steam, but I only pinned the 4 corners.
